Asking for more answers than what the report said in the guidelines.

I recently did a shop for a financial services. The report had around 40 questions. Some you're asked to describe what was asked and what you were told. I did that. Now they want me to answer EVERY question in the report with a sentence. Like the yes and no questions, writing them out and answering them. That could take hours to do. You spend over half and hour in the bank, not it seems they expect you to spend HOURS filling out the report. The shop pays $30. If this is the case it's not worth the time and effort. Has anyone here done reports for financial services? Also there is no way anyone could remember every single question the financial advisor asked.

I take notes during these shops. I just say, "I hope you don't mind if I take some notes -- I'm likely to forget something important if I don't write it down". Unless, of course, the guidelines say I may not take notes.
I do many financial services shops per month. Once you get the hang of it and take notes it's not an issue. Since you did not name the client, please name the MSC so that those who work for them can provide more detailed tips.

This was for KSS Kinesis-CEM.
Okay. I have done those shops and found that after 2-3 of them it was second nature and I could whiz through the report. I have found that the term, "or words to that effect," comes in very handy when reporting shop events.

I personally hate those shops from that MSC. For the payment, it's a lot of writing and time invested. The report has too many repeating questions and gets detailed. I've done 3 of them, and I won't be doing any more unless they are bonused. The time involved is just too great.
Kinesis actually has two very different shops in my region. One is very fast and easy. The other indeed requires a lot of attention and essays. The fee for the easy one is fine. The fee for the harder one is IMHO marginal.

This shop asks a lot of questions. I won't do another one, unless there's a bonus. Even paying $30, it's not worth the time and effort.
