Blue Station Pump Count and Selfie Pics

OMG. I cannot believe what I just saw. I just took the guidelines quiz for these shops. We no longer have to click on 20 pumps that don't exist! They are doing it like the yellow stations where you indicate how many pumps were on site. Then the report generates how many pump questions there are.
On the other hand...we now have to take a selfie to prove we are not in pajama pants and flip-flops.

That's good news janalou on the pump count. And I don't mind the selfie as I use a safety vest for all brands even though the blue stations don't require it. The selfie is the last picture I take before returning to my car. I'll gladly take the new pump count in exchange for the selfie.
Just took the quiz. A couple of new questions but the usual basic quiz. One thing I did notice is that the overall picture should be taken with the lights on for a day time shop. There were times when I would check the lights and give the attendant a thumbs up if all well so that he could save some electricity. I won't do that now, at least until I have taken the overall shot, as I'm sure the editors will be checking for lights.
I hope the editors aren't picky about the selfies, I never include my face...

Oh man. The amount of time I will habitually forget about that lights-on overall pic will approach 100%. That is going to be a nightmare with the editors for a while.

I never include my face either. A lot of the time I take it so fast it's just a blue or yellow and orange. They never care.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I'm in the dark here. I took the online quiz and passed. But, I never saw anything referring to pump counts, selfie or overall with lights on in that quiz!
The quiz was for monthly shops, not quarterly. But, I've never seen a difference other than having to take the same quiz for both!
I wonder what gives!
Check on pg 6 of the Qtr 1 Requirement Guide or the Overall photo requirement, and pg 1 for the selfie (and new info on the LOA as well). On pg 36 Qdispenser asks for the number of branded dispensers that were present. So, hopefully, that means only existing pumps will be rated and the rest will disappear form the report, like the other brand.
Oh, now I understand.
I knew about the new guidelines. I thought the comment referred to the quiz we must take (we get 3 chances) in order to perform the shops.
It is strange that the requirements are not really addressed in the quiz.
I typically take my overall photo of the entire site last just to give the attendant time and the canopy lights themselves time to come on. However, I've often noted that many times the overall photo does not give a good indication of canopy lights and, especially perimeter lighting being on. This often occurs on bright, sunny days. It will be interesting to see how the editors react to this. I have pointed out, when speaking to the MSC scheduler or supervisor, that the canopy lights are visible in many of the individual pump photos.
As for the pump count, I never really had a problem in clicking the 1 question of a non gasoline pump either being absent or being non gasoline. It was the other questions for gasoline pumps that seemed time consuming.
Looking at the selfie example photo I wonder how this shows appropriate dress. The guy is only from the waist up. He could be wearing Daisy Dukes and no shoes for all they know. Don't worry, dude - your secret's safe with us!

Its not really that clear, is it? They want the selfie, but, in the cold weather, do I need to remove my coat, etc and then take the photo?
If you continue to see none when there are usually some, you may want to call in about it. Sometimes the computer system will suspend you for its own many and varied reasons.

Being able to photograph the pumps out of numerical order (using the app) is AWESOME! And no more Plenti questions for each pump, just QR code, number, and pump topper....

The new report is much easier. There are also more specific questions about the condition of the interior.
Also in the new report are some diesel pump requirements. Specifically, the colors of the pump handles. This is for stand alone diesel pumps under the main canopy only. I'm expecting a hold on one I did yesterday.
Its really hard t take a selfie getting your outfit. I can get only some of it It is much easier to take in the mirror of the bathroom,
Insight - you are right, it is really hard to get a selfie showing top and bottom. Some restrooms have small mirrors and some have none. Mine only showed the top. Hoping it is accepted.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
FF - Maybe I am missing something. the safety vest is intended to be the outermost thing you are wearing. It needs to be visible in order to help protect you from injury. You shouldn't need to remove your coast since the safety vest should be on the outside of the coat. What am I missing?

Don't think you have to worry about the selfie. i did 8 so far and take the selfie the same way I do for the other brands. That is, an arms length shot of my torso from the neck to the waist. I wear a safety vest for this shops as I do for the others, over a jacket if I am wearing one. The safety vest takes up most of the picture and the rest is my arm and a small portion of the jacket, sweater of shirt under the vest. Really can't tell if I am appropriately dressed, although I am.

By the way, in addition to the other changes I see that they are a bit more lenient on the Squeegee, water, towels. One missing is OK.
I'm a rebel and always have been. I refuse to make more work for myself. I've been using the app for well over a year despite warnings from schedulers not to do so. The app works perfectly fine except those that wrote it obviously have never done a shop or they'd know the questions should be in a different order. I've never had a shop rejected or any issue as a result. The app automatically saves the photos to my phone in a separate folder. If something did go south, I would have no problem entering the report on the website from my phone. The app saves a lot of time and I don't leave the station until the report is submitted. I do take extra photos, which go into my regular camera roll, just in case an editor has an issue. Rarely have I had a hold on one of these shops, unlike the yellow shops where the editor has an issue with practically every one.
The selfie photo seems silly to me, but, as I understand it, the photo needs to be of what you are wearing at the time of the photo. Since I have done quite a few in the past new days of the month, most of my selfie photos are of me in the restroom or a reflection from a store window of myself from the waist up. They have been accepted. I note that the MSC, I have one particular hold that is rising to the level of ridiculousness and pettiness.
I'm wondering if the editors are new, or maybe have been issued new guidelines or maybe, they're the editors from the "green" shops.

I definitely underestimated how much I would like the new way of entering the pump series data.
