They got rid of some comments where you just had to repeat the question. I just did 2 and have 1 more coming up.
I remember in my downtown, MANY moons ago, right next to each other were three "5 & 10" stores: Kresge's, Woolworth's and JJ Newberry's. I had many an ice cream sundae in those places!! And then across the street from the main library was a drug store/pharmacy, with the counter and stools. I enjoyed many a fresh-made raspberry lime rickey there!! Aahhh, good memories!@MsJudi wrote:
We called it "The 5 and 10." There was Woolworth's and McCrory's and W.T.Grant might have fit that bill as well. God, I'm old!

I just came back from .99, I go a few times a week, and if you catch them when the truck comes, great buys.99% are .99 except as SandyF says, Almond milk, bacon, eggs. I bought olives, Oprah;s cauliflower pizza, lactose free ice cream, creme cheese, Western bagels, blackberries, Stevia, and all my foil, paper towels, etc. Spent 15.00 and got tons of stuff needed and wanted. Everyone says this one is great, I agree. I didn't know they were ever shopped.
