According to the USPS website these are all Zone 5 for me.
That’s not possible. I don’t think that you are reading it correctly.
Those zip codes include MT, NY and TX.
The website was giving me the wrong zips, too, in the past. Forum members told me they were wrong but, the website was saying something else. So, I started using this site. [www.easypost.com]
and found out the forum members were right.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

Zone 5 is a range of something close to 500-999 miles from your home zip code.

For Example if you live in San Diego, CA only the very top of Northern CA is Zone 5. Oregon is Zone 5. Washington is Zone 6 (too far). Arizona is zone 4 (not far enough), but New Mexico is zone 5. Texas is Zone 6 (too far). Las Vegas, NV is zone 4 (not far enough).

tstewart3 is going to have to trust me on this one. I have probably shipped 1000 packages for shopping and another 3000 on eBay.
If you really want to do those USPS Hazmat shops, just mail the package to the Food Bank in zone 5 -- just like we did the old dim-wgt USPS shops.
Be careful. This suggestion came up a few months ago. The poster got visited by the police after the Food Bank reported that they had received a suspicious package. There have also been postings which note that food banks really want either money or really large quantities of food (sent with permission). Most commercial enterprises (food banks included) have to pay for trash removal, and that it what the boxes we ship end up as. A lot of trash for very little food. But IMHO, the biggest concern these days is suspicious packages. There are a lot of crazy people out there.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
