MSC release dates

Is there a master list somewhere (such as the "Official List of MSC's" at the bottom of every page on here) that shows about when shops are released monthly? If not, can one be created? That would be SUPER helpful.

In order to be useful that would have to be reliable. The problem is that when MSC's release shops often depends on when the client happens to release them to the MSC. Even with a scheduling company like KSS, where the "rule" is that they release shops one Mondays, the needs of their clients play merry havoc with that "schedule."

Many veteran shoppers that have figured out when their favorite shops get released (rightly) guard that information closely. The best way to figure it out is to keep hopping on the company websites.

@kathyg Agreed, but with over 100 companies (and counting), that really takes the fun out of doing these shops...

I won't answer directly but if you use common sense you will be able to know when a MSC releases visits for the next period.

Again, I'm not new to this, it just takes time (that I don't have) to check every site individually. That's all I'm sayin.

Time is money. If someone was willing to put together a list, it would probably be something not given away for free.

If everyone else has to put in the work to learn when companies release shops, why should they give that away? In order to make money as a mystery shopper you have to build your business yourself. Even though we share tips and complaints, we are still competitors.

Well, The Source posts shops (normally) on Wednesday.

I had to ask a scheduler to discover that fact, and I'd been shopping for them for years before I asked.

So I would say, develop your own list, by asking the schedulers.

See, in my area, they usually post on Thursdays. Occasionally Wednesday or even Friday but usually Thursday. That is something I've noticed with other MSCs too though- the same shops in different areas/regions post at different times or even on different dates. Another problem with trying to come up with a master list.

OP, to answer your question, no, there isn't such a list on the forum. But maybe you could make your own- track the release dates in a spreadsheet for a couple months or something. The dates will probably still vary by month/quarter/whatever, but at least you would have a general idea.
