Mobee

Hello,
Has anyone used the app Mobee? They are considered a Mystery Shopping app, but so far I haven't seen a single assignment that has required a purchase. It's been a nice way to get my Dunkin gift cards, I just do a task when ever I happen to be in a store that has something available. I'm very curious about how they could possibly track things for tax purposes, or if that's just something they are obligated to say.

Hello,

I have used Mobee.

Are you curious as a shopper, or are you trying to get free intel for the MovieMeasure app?
I must be missing something....I don't understand how Mobee has anything to do with Movie Measure......
It is completely unrelated. As stated, it is something that I myself use.
As we are approaching tax season, I noticed that they say you'll receive a 1099 for earnings exceeding $600, but I can't imagine keeping track of how that would be determined since points can be saved.

I do and did and in 2017 got a 1099 for $1300. That was the amount I redeemed points into gift cards that year. I do very little for them now as they require way too much for as little as 100 or 150 points. In 2017 they had a dollar type store where the did regular checks every 2 weeks and I did many of those. They were also often raised in point value.

Thank you, that is very helpful. I only do tasks for a store I am already in, as they don't seem to offer many points for most things and it does seem to be a somewhat awkward amount of time in some departments (The Home Depot ones especially).

Is it abnormal for schedulers to engage in conversation that is not related to their company? I didn't quite get the initial response that I'd anticipated
Hi Admin2019. Schedulers post quite frequently on various topics.

In your original post, you asked if anyone had used an app. Why would that bring traffic other than those who have used it?

What exactly are you looking for?

If you signed up for an app you need to give them your personal information. And if you use the app you are logged into the app with your information.

That's how they can determine how many shops/earnings you have and 1099 you if you exceed $600 in any year.
The reason I was asking was because with this particular app, you get points, which can then be redeemed. So you could do all your work then only "cash out" a certain amount of points at a time. Traveliz answered my question, and said that it is based on the amount you redeem.
