Grocery Store Meat Department Question

What are some good questions to ask at the meat counter without looking like you're a complete moron who has never cooked a day in their life?

Do you carry organic beef (pork, chicken, etc...)?

Do you carry grass fed, grass finished, beef?

What cut of meat do you recommend for osso bucco? What do you personally consider the most flavorful type of steak? Are lamb chops available only in the Spring? Can you de-bone a whole chicken for me?

What is the best cut for grilling? What is your go to seasoning for cut x?

I like these questions, I'll use one of these tomorrow. Thank you!!
You have grocery shops where you can make up your own questions? LOL!!!

I would so much prefer that over the totally nonsensical questions I have been required to ask!
I will. Ask how do you prepare the meat that you are going to prepare ...ask a question if you never cook

Cease, The particular grocery shop Client that TS has in my area allows me to make up my own questions as well, as long as they are appropriate for the department. I know TS has other grocery Clients in other parts of the country where the questions to be asked are specifically given, but not for the Client in my area. Other MSCs, such as MF, have questions that I have to ask.
What's the best meat for a crockpot? My grocery stores have questions, we can pick one out of three.

Oh, then, I'd ask how to cook a good steak til it's well done without ruining it.

LOL!!!

That's a trick question, if it's past medium you already ruined it. LOL (I kid, I kid)

Do you have a schedule for when you mark down meat? How can I tell if this beef is grass-fed or grain-fed?

My mother in law loves veal/lamb/liver/capon/duck and I'm trying to win her over. How do I prepare said not-widely-questioned meat?
Just say I’m not a person who cooks regularly, but I would like to broil lamb chops. What should I purchase and how do I cook them
There is nothing wrong with coming across as a moron. Some of us do so quite naturally.

What seasonings do you suggest if I broil XXX.
I usually use XXX seasoning, but my family would appreciate with a bit pizzazz. Do you have a suggestion?
Is there a brine you would recommend for pork chops?
What is the difference between the XXX cut and the YYY cut?

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Does your department EVER carry " lamb shank bones for stewing?", "rabbit?",
or " Cornish hens?" or something else not typical.
Some very good ideas here. I tried a new one yesterday. I asked the Meat manager about lamb chops. Said my pregnant DIL (she is pregnant!) was coming for a visit and has been having a hankering for lamb chops lately (not true!). Anyhow, got some interesting information that way!
I just bought ground lamb and made burgers, yes, of course all groceries have lamb chops
