Stew,
As a 5 year forum member we would hope that you would know that it is a violation of the primary forum rule, and of the ICAs that we all sign with the MS companies, to name who shops which client. And we cannot respond to that question in person, in PMs, in emails, etc.

I’ve shopped Chase before...

Since Chase is just entering my tri-state market, I would love to know. But, I will just keep signing up with MSCs until I see those shops. It's all part of this business.

I am sure you are already with the MSC. They changed MSC recently and the new one has yet to offer enough to inspire me to pick any up...

I received the email, but they all (so far) are downtown, not worth it.

Live consciously....
The Chase branches in the DMV area are so new that they probably are not yet being shopped. Chase is offering a large cash bonus to their long time credit card holders to open both checking and savings accounts for at least 90 days. I am going to do that, as I qualify and it is a tidy sum.

People around here are picking up the jobs with the new MSC at base pay and the rotation now seems longer. Practically nothing was bonused the last set but I just can't bring myself to do those for 50% less money...yet.
Chase shops don't pay nearly as much as Wells Fargo shops. If I had to choose one, I'd always do the WF ones....
I stopped doing them with the old MSC. Got tired of collecting all of those brochures I guess...lol Have yet to try them with the new one.

The new MSC for it offers low pay. I've only done one that was bonused up to $30. It's a popular MSC and not hard to find.
It is indeed a tidy sum, and i signed up. But look at carefully at the requirements. The bonus for checking requires a direct deposit every month and the bonus for savings requires that $15,000 be put in the account within a month and the $15,000 balance needs to be maintained for a minimum of 90 days. I thought that all I had to do was qualify for a free account, but the devil was in the details. I am going to collect on the checking account since I switched a monthly direct deposit. The bonus (including the double-dip bonus) for savings is $300 in my area, which is 2% of the balance. IF you happen to have $15,000 invested somewhere (or masquerading as hamburger patties in your freezer) and you can move it AND the current investment is earning less than 2%, then you will net the difference. Also to note is that the bonus is subject to income tax.

myst4,
Yes I had read all of that in detail and can do both accounts. I will have a DD monthly to move to the checking account. This just happened to pop up when I have saved a LOT for a future project so I have the required amount, at least for 90 days, lol. Other such offers want a $50,000 deposit to savings or CD, so this is a super deal.

I truly love how frugal and thoughtful with money so many of the people on this forum are....maybe it's a "shopper personality" to look outside the box for ways to make and maintain wealth

***Edited to add:

Almost nobody who I know besides *me* (and many of you guys!) actually considers interest rates and looks at different scenarios to figure out how to make the most of your money....

FYI... Chase offers $200 for opening a Chase Total Checking account and $150 for opening a savings account. So $350 total, no mystery shop involved. Or possibly a Hat Trick?

There are ways to eliminate monthly maintenance fees. By opening a separate business checking my personal checking and the business account we fee-free. No minimum balance required and a no cost safe deposit box was included.

It's a good idea to first check for "new account" opening bonuses.
Chase offers free Premium Checking (no minimum required) that includes a savings account as well if you or your spouse were or are in the military. It's a good account with 4 fee free ATM w/ds at non-Chase banks, free checks, free money orders, and a free safe deposit box.
