I miss them too. How long did it take? When I saw that it jumped from 8 items to 20 I was leery.
It jumped to 20? For the same price as 8? I knew I was right to never search for them again after I did some in 2017.
It did. I didn't bother to look further. I am curious if there are fewer questions.
And mobile ones used to be 4. Those also jumped to 20 and now that shop is a big nope from me.
Yes, this is pretty outrageous that they went from 4/8 to 20 items for the same pay. Still appears like these shops disappear within hours, so people are doing them.
I haven’t seen any post in my area since January. 20 items seems unreasonable unless they’ve lowered the amount of items to search through.
Does anyone think the MSC will switch back to the 7 per month? This was one of my primary ways of saving up some vacation money.
I think the client sets the number of allowed shops in a given time period not the MSC.

Just got emails with desktop and mobile shops, but the location lists seem to be smaller. 20 items...how long does it take for you guys to do 20 items? I’m thinking that would put me over 2 hours on the desktop searches...
I took two a week ago, one for smartphone and one for desktop. They took sooooo long. About an hour and a half total each! Not worth it. Very disappointed. I hope they go back to the old way.

Glad to see I’m not the only one confused by the changes. No web search assignments here since the week of 1/20. Although the last one that I completed says “week 52” in the title. Maybe they are taking a short break to close the project fiscal year? They sent me a few new assignments this month, one was for a pilot project which was easy but only offered one time. Then I got the email for the 20 item comparisons. It did take forever and I didn’t like it. But, the report only asks you 2 questions for each product. I’m interested to see what might be coming next.

Me too. I hope it's not the end. I really like the extra $ I get from these assignments. Oh well...

I finally took one of the "20 items" assignments just to check it out. It took me one hour to complete the desktop searches. Yes, there are fewer questions, but you are doing 40 screenshots, reviewing 40 web pages to answer 3 questions per item, so a total of 120 checkboxes, plus 40 uploads. I think $10 for an hour worth of work is not enough. Hopefully, the company reconsiders and modifies these or increases the fee.

Yeah I tried one more time and tonight I did a mobile one and it took 53 minutes. And so many Screenshots!

I also want to buy some stuff from them. But I am not able to buy them because of some kind of problem is going on with them.
Has anyone tried doing their latest round? It's completely different. And it's not working on my end. Eval button doesn't populate keywords to search. I'm totally lost and annoyed I spent two hours trying to complete one shop and I can't. Emailed them, but so far no response.

Thank God it wasn't only me! I thought my computer was blocking something. Phew! I contacted them too and they actually responded a short while ago and said they are looking into it with the client.

Hello I have a quick question. Did anyone do the Walmart shop online this weekend? I did, and it took about 30 minutes which I expected, but then this morning I get a message stating I didn't complete all 20 inquiries and to please redo the shop! I did every single query they asked me to. I'm so angry!

Yes, I also got the same note! I have noticed that this type of shop has had several issues. It's really frustrating.
If you redo your shop please let me know if it gets accepted. I'm so annoyed. I'll let you know if mine gets approved second time around as well. I really don't want to redo it though. Not worth the money at this point

I've had a similar problem with the older Walmart shops. The reviewers would tell me that I needed to go back and search for the exact item because I didn't find it, or that my item wasn't exact per the photos even though it was. And they would tell me I needed to do new searches and provide new screenshots. They would really annoy me because I was super-diligent with my searches. Every time, I sent an email back to the editors letting them know that my search was already complete per their instructions and explain why. And every time, they conceded and accepted my shop as-is. Usually the editor was only comparing superficial pics as opposed to reading item descriptions. Good luck with them as I know there is no way the pay is worth redoing the whole shop.
I had issues with the add on that you need to use to complete these. They have not been helpful. They need to fix the technical issues and PAY us because we did the shop!
Just checked and after completing the project again, mine was accepted.

I completely agree! They did send an email apologizing for the inconvenience. I think they messed up on their side.
