Here is an interesting bit of news: I have been doing the E/M gasoline station shops for quite some time. I have used their rewards program cards as part of the program, using the card when it was the one version and then in July of last year when it switched over to the new version.
As part of the shop routine, specifically the rewards program, we as shoppers are supposed to note if we were asked by the gas station employee or at the pump itself for the rewards card or if we were asked to join the program.
Of late, when swiping my card I have been asked to call E/M customer assistance. No points were given.
I did call and learned that my potential points accrued were being denied because of multiple swipes in one day!
Wasn't that the point of the MSC's mystery shop program?
