USPS Shops

I used to be able to apply for and be assigned the USPS regular box shops on a fairly regular basis. The past few months, though, my application is never accepted. Do schedulers just find someone else that they prefer dealing with? I always submit my shops on time and never have any issues.

Just looking for a bit of feedback. Last spring I was doing multiple shops for this company a month.

I used to get a lot more accepted also. I thought I had a pretty good working relationship with the scheduler and don't believe anything happend to affect that. Maybe there are more people requesting the jobs. In my area they also changed how jobs are scheduled. Locations close to each other are now shopped on different weeks making designing cost-effective routes difficult.
It's changed to spread out the shops. What the scheduler doesn't realize is that the low fee is okay when you can string five shops together; not so much when those five shops are in five different weeks. Mine have gone down to very few except for expensive end-of-the-quarter shops.

In my area where there are many, many post offices since it is a big city I get the impression they are not shopping each location as often as they used to and this cuts down on the total number of shops. I see the shops coming out on a quarterly basis but of the 5 or 6 locations I like to do I will not see all locations all quarters. As there are less shops being done that makes less available per shopper. They seem to have cut even further back on the frequency of hazmat shops.
I guess I should be happy that the government is picking affordable options by cutting down how often the locations are shopped then. Haha.
When I apply for these, I email or text the scheduler, explaining that I need several to make it worthwhile.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who can't get assigned a location. Generally I was able to get the less popular locations without difficulty, now I can't even get those.
Sorry to hear others are having trouble, but I am getting most of the ones I ask for. I had 9 for this week (I have 2 left) and I have 5 for next week. No issues here. There are 20 post offices within 25 miles of my house so plenty to go around. I tend to think other shoppers in my area don't want them.
