When the recruiting email has obvious errors

When a scheduler sends out recruiting emails with obvious errors, especially ones that would cost them money, do you take time to let them know?

I got an email today that had obviously been "recycled" from a previous run of the project. It still listed the higher pay & bonus from the previous run, but the project has just started. The subject line listed the correct, much lower pay.

I called the scheduler to let her know (she was very grateful). My thinking is that this at least earns me bonus points with them when I request other jobs. Do you do this, too?

Don't count on the bonus points.

You did the right thing; that's reward in itself.

Yes, I would -- and I have.

Recently a major MSC had a blurb on home page about "it's time for tax preperation".

I told 'em right away. It was corrected within moments.
