scheduler assigned me the wrong location

I asked a scheduler to assign me a shop that I couldn't assign myself because all of the dates were grayed out in the Sassie platform (which has been happening a lot BTW, for several different companies). She assigned me the wrong shop in a town with a similar name but in the completely wrong state I asked for. The shop was scheduled for Saturday and I've emailed the scheduler 3 times with no response and it's still on my shop board. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do? I have a good rapport with this company and always get good feedback and have never been late or asked for an extension on reports. I don't want this is jeopardize my standing with the company.

Call the company if you have their phone #. It would help if you provided the name of the company.
Have you confirmed it yet? Is there a line that says "I have a question or problem"? And yes, feel free to tell us the company.

I was once assigned a shop in Torrington. I think it's Torrington, CT.

But the shop I wanted was in Torrington, WYOMING

And there are schedulers who evidently believe "NE" is "North East" -- it's not, it's Nebraska!!!

If you get another shop in Torrington, CT, I can help you with that.

For the OP: Definitely call the company. Some schedulers go into a funk of not reading emails once they think a hard to assign shop is full. If you can't get through to the company, try another scheduler for that company and say you can't get a hole of the scheduler you are after any longer.

Sassie was down earlier, so if you sent an email through the shopper contact link, they may have not received it
I had a wrong location assigned to me but the scheduler was able to remove it for me and marked it as scheduler request rather than as shopper request so that I would not be dinged for cancelling a shop. That was for ACL. So if your company is different that may not be how they do it. Be persistent with your phone calls...
I hardly ever use the Sassie contact link to contact schedulers, I almost always email. Sometimes I hit "reply" to the "accepted" email and change the subject line to "URGENT" at the beginning to grab their attention. Usually works pretty well, but schedulers are not always available 24/7. That being said, if you have emailed 3 times since Saturday and it's now Tuesday, calling the MSC (as others suggested) might be your best bet.

This happened to me too! I selected Arden SC (it had SC on the job) but it was for Arden NC! Me being a newbie decided I was not going to cancel. I picked up 3 banks on the way and made it a 4 spot day! smiling smiley

Or NE I would think might be New England. And there is the famous LA where I live which is also lower Alabama and Louisiana to those who live on that side of the country. I find schedulers from a different locale have a lot of trouble with the details of where we live. I would probably mangle things in their area too. I often see shops in a specific city around here identified in the job specs as being in a city that is the name of the street the business is on. Some of the major streets run through 7 or 8 distinct cities but not the one they quote it as being in. Sometimes there is an actual city with that street name as a city name also but it is 50 miles away from where the job is.
