Candle shop questions..

This one looks like so much fun. I don't want to say which msc, but it looks pretty straight forward. Has anyone done candle shops and have you liked them?

I just did one. I liked it a lot but I wish the reimbursement was a little higher. There is a minimum amount of time you have to be in the store - it isn't long but I can see at a smaller store you may be helped a little faster and be done with stuff a little quicker.

I did the candle shops about 7 times and always had a good experience. But the last time I did one, It took a lot to get the girl to come out from behind the counter and show me the candles. It was like pulling teeth to get her to stay off the phone and her constant chit chat with friends. tongue sticking out smiley
It's almost always better when the time spent in store is quicker, but some MSCs require a certain amount of time be spent in the store. This might be one of them?
I do these shops all the time. always some sale so be it votives, car jars, or something else can I spend about $5.44 with tax. So my pay is about 50 cents less as they only reimburse $5. Easy shop but more of a route add then anything.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Lots of narrative in the report. A good sales associate will tell so much information and demo so many candles that the minimum time is never an issue.
12 minutes is not long just browse and smell candles once associate leaves you.

No not long but report will not be accepted if you note 11 minutes .....

I really like these shops.. but I use them for fillers on routes as they don’t pay much. I absolutely love candles so I really think these shops are enjoyable!
Ughhh..think I messed up the shop..associate got to me before I could get to area I needed to start at.

The shop itself was very pleasant and I really liked the associate, very friendly..

And then the report section..so this is the type of report that I hate.
Repetiveness all over the dang place..

I don't mind a step by step narrative, or a lengthy fill in the blanks, but not when they are combined together.....yuck

What is the point of a fill in the blank, when at the end you just want a lengthy step by step narrative..so freaking annoying.

As a whole I liked the shop itself and I appreciate everyones input..also thanks on the 12 minute thing. I almost left after 5 minutes, then remembered what you all said.

I like this shop but as everyone says they need to be part of a route or at less a whole day of shopping. I also like them because if I have to take a small 5 dollar gift to anything . I have some around.
I hope the questionnaire has a really long spot to put your answer to the "how many times did your sinuses explode during this visit" question.

I walked out with a huge headache. But getting a gift for my sister was worth it.
