Do you get the majority of your assignments through emails, or from the job boards?

I get a ton of emails, so many that I neglect to check the job boards of those MSC's I like best. How do you navigate the jobs in an organized manner? I really need to organize myself better!

I have favorite MSC's that I mostly do business with and check those job boards. The other MSC's I don't open the email unless I see something interesting.
I get 80% of my jobs through emails, usually from the relationships i have made with schedulers. I search toward the end of the month to see what's available or get offers to redo something failed. I don't work a lot, so this works for me, as jobs from schedulers are the ones I like, especially restaurants. I do have to go to the boards, and confirm, so since I'm there, checking takes no time. I do check KSS Scheduling and another for jobs in my town.

Live consciously....

I only complete 20-30 shops a month.

99% of them come directly from schedulers, who either call me direct, or send a non-mass e-mail.
I complete 150-250 each month and typically book about 45-60 days out. The majority are assigned to me by MSCs based on continuing relationships. Some firms just assign me without asking. Others ask me what/how many dates I am available in the coming month. Besides that, it is a mixed bag of boards, mass e-mails, and my proactive outreach to MSCs for unadvertised shops. As a general rule, I will not accept any shop advertised by text message.

I'm not as fortunate as the others that have answered the question. The emails I get are for jobs posted on the boards. It's about 50/50 if I find the job on the board or see the email first. I also usually only schedule out a few days to a week in advance.
I got all my jobs from the job boards when I first started. For the last few years, I have been getting most of my jobs from emails. BTW, I have been shopping full-time from the outset. I average 60-80 shops each month.
I only do about 25 shops each month, on average. Most of the time, I get my jobs from the job boards and emails. I will accept texts from one company that I have a good relationship with. If I can do a shop for them when they text me, I will try to do so. I also get their shops from their website as well.
Gah, I hate it when schedulers text me about shops. As a general rule, I won't do those either. But, if they were to offer an exorbitant fee, I would reconsider smiling smiley
