AT&T AUDIT

I am confused ...MSC has posted a 25.00 fee shop and a 10.00 fee shop, both are revealed audits.

Both have the same description.
This is an announced evaluation at an AT&T Retail Store or Kiosk. The review involves asking the Manager or person in charge multiple questions at the store, taking digital photos, evaluating aspects of the store or kiosk on your own and taking more digital photos, and filling out the questionnaire at the location

The 25.00 fee shop has been on the site for a while, they recently added the 10.00 fee shop.

Ummm Does anyone have any insight on this?

The shop with the $25 fee has probably been sitting on the board for a few months.

The shop with the $10 is likely a new round of shops that started this month.

I've been looking at these. Any one here done them? How complicated are they, how time consuming? Thanks!
I did my first one yesterday - the questions are much more involved than the old ones from a few years ago, however pictures are only required if the answer is negative. The store was so busy that I wound up having to answer most questions "could not get assistance with this question because the store was busy." Most questions require the assistance of store personnel to answer. I did not like doing the job, and probably wouldn't take more unless they pay more, which they don't seem to be willing to do. The ones in my area have been sitting on the board for months, and they have not raised them beyond $20 to $25. I was in the store for 35 minutes, mostly waiting for assistance from personnel, but customer after customer kept coming in so that they could not assist me.

The company that does them has made changes recently and is not bonusing things like they used to.

My pet peeve with the new ATT shops were the questions about Adobe and Java updates. Sometimes the agent knew how to get in there and find my update information and sometimes they did not.tongue sticking out smiley I thought that was the least enjoyable part about the audit.
I have done many of these shops. Once you're use to them, they are very easy. I would not do any for $10.
A scheduler called me and offered $30 to do this shop. I've done the precious version, which was fairly easy. I agreed to do the shop. After opening up the 30 page guidelines, I feel sick to my stomach. Any tips from you more experienced auditors?
I did one last month at $25 & am only seeing them at $10 now. The store I did had absolutely no customers so the manager was able to sit with me & answer all the questions. I could see how after doing a couple they would get easier/quicker & I'd do more at $25 but won't even consider it for $10.

Yes. Grab the manager! Make sure to tell him he is to stay with you as much as possible as he needs to access the computer. (sometimes he gets pulled away to answer a customer's question but he quickly comes back!) That is the biggest hurdle. There are things no-one can answer but the manager such as the Adobe updates and such. winking smiley
I did a couple. Take longer than the ones in years past. Won't touch them for $10 though. The two I did were $20 and I'm thinking $25-$30 is more realistic - unless it is a filler shop
I did one last month. You have to call to tell them you're coming. I asked when was a good time to come when the store was not busy and I made sure I was there at that time. In the half hour I was there, exactly one customer came in and was handled by an associate.

Do not be daunted by the 30 pages of guidelines. You are basically reading the questions and I didn't print them out. Just called them up on my tablet in the store and wrote the answers on a piece of paper. YOU DO HAVE TO PRINT OUT the authorization letter and the "Proof of Visit" that the manager has to sign. Looking forward to doing it again when I'm in rotation.
I noticed they lowered the fee for these shops to $10. So far no one in my area has picked them up. I will not touched them at that fee.
What I find interesting with these shops, many of the questions on Java and Adobe, or any changes to the computer the employees cannot do. They cannot add any programs. Only their I.T. department can.

There is no way in HE** I would do these for $10 bucks! tongue sticking out smiley
They started with a listing of 13 of these shops at $10 in the Phoenix area - moving up the pay by either 50cents or 75cents every few days. The shops sit at $14.25 right now. I emailed them letting them know I would do 10 of the shops for $20 each (which is what I got for doing them in April) and could have them done within 10 days. I heard back that they would take my offer under consideration and if I did not hear back or see the jobs on my job board then the offer was not accepted...….you guessed it, nothing came back and the jobs are still listed. These shops take a good amount of time to complete and at a minimum should be $20 - anyone have any thoughts on this?

These started at around $45 two years ago and they were going for $75 toward the end. I cannot believe they are putting these on the boards for $10.
Yep. Earlier this year, these started at $15.00, then went to $18.00, then 25.00 on the board, if they weren't picked up. Now they're starting at $10, then $13 and finally $14.25, which they've been at for a while. I actually enjoy doing these shops, but not for that pay. I will say that they've made them easier by using the app. I'll try going for incentives, but who knows.
