Signage Replacement Project - Stickers

I'm just curious, is anyone doing the signage replacement project (everything is reported in an app) - I'm wondering how many women are doing these, and finding them difficult? My husband is doing them, and there are stickers he finds hard to remove...

I have done about 30 of these sign removals and have found it a pretty easy job. Some are nasty to pull off, they have a white powder that comes out of the older signs. It easier to remove the old signs if you spray them liberally with Windex before you start with the blade. I had a very nice store owner show me this trick at one of my first stores.

I have done a few in the last couple of weeks. Went early in the day. No problems.

In the past, I completed projects that involved stick-ons. Only one location had an issue. I think they used some unique recipe of concrete, super glue on steroids, and a curse! But it was just the one place, and I have excellent memories of better experiences.

Anyway, I appreciate the tips. I have an upcoming signage project and might need that information! smiling smiley

I agree with the above, Windex and a better blade than what was included make a huge difference. Also, if you have one on a wooden counter consider skipping it. I tried one and ripped the finish off of the counter. After that I skipped those and made a note.
