Payment for shop when it is closed

Post removed as it breached the Forum guideline which states, "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies". Additionally, it is an ICA violation to name both the MSC and client.

If you followed all the guidelines, you may be paid in full; more likely, however, you'll receive the "closed shop" fee. It's spelled out right on your CPI.
You are in violation of TOS by naming the client and MSC in your post, you might want to edit that.

Lots of times you will not get paid, because the company really needed a "closed shop verification" and they will use the excuse you should have called first. You've been had.
You might get a small "Go Fee." One MSC requires a full report to get the fee. It's not worth it for $3.

I got a full fee reporting a location out of business every month. The same location over and over. For a year and a half. It all depends on the MSC and the client. My understanding is that, in my case, each month the client gave the MSC a list of locations to shop -- the same list.
I did a few Presto shops that the location was closed, they paid me. I totally get the "Call and we will only pay you $ for the phone call if they are closed." But I feel if a shopper goes on site, in good faith, they should get the pay. I did one recently, it was closed for a specific reason, and I emailed my scheduler right then. I think I made the mistake of not asking to get paid anyway. It was OK in this specific case because I had been on the road already 8 hours, it was on my way home, and that particular lower paying shop required details I was too tired to report, I was merely interested in the reimbursed perk (the 10 other shops that day were simple reports.)
