A commonly known mystery shopping company has multiple listings for "Cannabis Mapping" shops.

The shop includes the dispensary name, full address, product type, the size/weight of the product, price paid, and product claims.

All this for $5.

Something new every day, I guess.

A Google search just told me that there's actually MORE than one now! Guess considering how many states are legalizing marijuana it doesn't surprise me :-)

I plead ignorance. Apparently there's a difference between pot and CBD. One's fancy & legal, one's not. The fancy one, I have been told, is legal. Sorry, should have checked first.

That's not exactly correct either. Marijuana contains several compounds. THC is the one that causes you to get "high". CBD is also in marijuana but does not get you high. It is what where most of the medicinal uses for marijuana are. CBD is also present in hemp btw, but they have found that CBD is more effective when it's consumed with THC at the same time. THC is legal in some states for recreational use and some only for medicinal use. CBD is not regulated at all in some states, is specifically legal in some, and specifically illegal in others.

CBD and other cannabinoids extracted from Hemp Cannabis is legal in all 50 states. They contain less than .03% THC, many have 0 THC. CBD from Marijuana, or any other extracts from the Marijuana variety of cannabis, that contain more than .03% CBD are either illegal or regulated. Many states have regulated medical marijuana usage.

Without a medical marijuana card, you can not access the dispensaries. The staff are less than likely to let even their legal customers to document the products. It's a cash business, with many legal restrictions around whom can even be in the dispensary.

I agree that medical dispensaries would be unlikely to let shoppers come in and take a bunch of photos (although anyone with a medical card could certainly make product inquiries). But this particular shop is specifically for people who've already purchased products. The form takes less than two minutes to fill out.

Ok, so it is based on the purchase of one product. I would not get a medical marijuana card just to do the shop. The marijuana products are very expensive.

Some people do not realize that when you get a medical marijuana card it is tracked. Those that require a Medical Card to drive vehicles like buses or trucks will not pass the exam, just like being prescribed certain medications will cause you to fail. Then try getting or keeping any job with a Federal agency and see what happens.
