true.....i probably should've not taken the assignment.. I reached out to them a number of times, via e mail, and never received any response. I sent a lengthy e mail regarding my concerns after the shop, and never received a response. I even wrote them that if there is no response to the concerns i documented, then we need to part ways. I know I am not the only shopper for them and I know a few days for a response is acceptable, but no response at all.....the reviews regarding the company from other shoppers were positive, responsive, etc but not my experience at all.
What??

I am not following you. So you don't want to finush a report? Yes, your score will be affected. Yes, salespeople can be pushy.

Should have cancelled the shop or just not done it if they don't let you cancel. Then when they ask why present the paper trail of you trying to reach them over and over with questions. That would be less likely to get you dinged then just not doing the report after the fact (when you attempted the shop).... Either way, I would argue with your paper trail, that may save you in the end from getting dinged.

I am not following what happened to make you not do the report or finish it or, or, or, or.....
No, I have never refused to finish a shop report. Yes, your refusal to finish a shop report will almost certainly affect your ratings. However, you posted " I sent a lengthy e mail regarding my concerns after the shop, and never received a response. I even wrote them that if there is no response to the concerns i documented, then we need to part ways." So, if you plan to part ways with them anyway, do you care if your ratings with them go down to zero?
I'm missing something here. You don't want to finish the narrative but you don't mind sending a lengthy email and chasing a scheduler for days. Why not just write up the shop and be done with it? At least leave on good terms.
I have never accepted a job and refused to complete it - aside from the time when I had to take my wife to the ER.... There have been numerous jobs that I have accepted, only to find out that they were more work than I had anticipated. I still finished the job, fulfilling my end of the agreement. When asked to do such jobs thereafter, I have declined and/or asked for more money.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Dude left us hangin'... Why not finish the report?

I could see not wanting to do the second part of a shop if the first part went badly. if I was supposed to give personal information and wait for a phone call, and the guy at the store was a creep, I would bail. There are ways to create fake phone numbers, I guess. I prefer not to do any shops that require a follow-up unless it is with a disposable email. I prefer not to show my real ID if I am not comfortable with a salesperson.
