5 Guys

Does anyone know if there is a (secret) minimum time between shops? For example: if I did a shop at a certain 5 guys on May 1, would I have to wait a month? 3 months? The guidelines are silent, but I notice the 2 locations I did recently are both not popping up for upcoming availability. I'd planned to eat a lot of 5 guys this summer, now I'm wishing I'd only accepted the $20 late night shops (if it's true I'll have to wait a while).

I usually see a location again after a month of shopping them for each particular meal time. Sometimes less if they are desperate.

Just from experience, I have seen shops pop back up after a month and some have popped back up the next week. I don't know that it's a specific time as much as it's a round, just like one of the grocery stores that they have on board.

My scheduler told me that since I did location X during Week 1, I would need to wait a month before doing it again.

I'm glad you plan to eat a lot of 5Guys this summer. I can't get enough of their Veggie & Cheese sandwiches.

Sounds like there’s a 1-month “pause”, depending on local market need. I guess it was a little stupid of me to think I’d be hitting a mall location weekly :p
Probably better for my heart anyway.

I gotta try one of those veggie sammiches @HonnyBrown . I almost did last time, but it was a phone shop and for some reason I got rattled and ended up ordering a little bacon cheeseburger lol.

I have done a lunch and a dinner shop at the same location, in the same week, after having my "make an offer, " accepted for both. I contacted the Help Desk and was told that was OK as long as I was not doing both on the same day (Which is not allowed). However, usually the location does not show up again until the following month, once I accept a shop for a particular location.

Is the veggie sandwich a beyond meat type patty or is there just a variety of the vegetable toppings they offer? I remember reading a while back that was what it contained but maybe it has changed.

I don't know why Honny likes it so much lol. It's just a bun with veggies on it. No meat or mock meat. I had it once and they put mushrooms on mine and I almost died- not from an allergy, I just hate mushrooms. I get the grilled cheese with lettuce, tomatoes and grilled onions.

eta- some locations used to offer a black bean burger. I would LOVE if they added a beyond the meat or incredible burger patty

I did one a couple of years back and got the veggie sandwich that was offered at the time. As I recall it was quite mushy with melted what seemed like a cheese sauce. not a piece of cheddar or real cheese. And to top it all off I "had to" eat an entire bag of fries as I cannot eat just one or even two or twenty if there are more just sitting there beckoning to me. The only part of the shop i liked, actually loved, was the endless peanuts while I waited. The fries were good but it was not a healthy meal so I have avoided this shop. Not to mention the location has no parking that I know of so I parked about 5 blocks over at a grocers with a free lot I had to pretend I was visiting and walked over. It was a colorful walk though

For self assign, it is approximately 30 days before the same location shows up again for self assignment. As others have observed, sometimes the cycle causes locations to show back up quicker.

As for receiving emails or phone calls, there does not appear to be any hard rules they must follow.

I've seen a shop reappear as soon as 10 days and as long as 30 days but i typically see the same location again in 3-4 weeks.

It's raw and grilled veggies. I get it with bacon.

I cannot get enough of them. I haven't had their burgers since I started eating the veggie sandwiches.

I got a Little Burger in a lettuce wrap yesterday. It was good. I figure I need to save some calories somewhere. They used large lettuce leaves to surround the burger and veggies. I added lots of veggies.

In my area (CO & NM) I am doing the same location twice a month for they call me.
As a side note, according to a YouTube video 5 Guys does intensive mystery shopping to keep the quality up. I have found this to be true on this location when I have left a bad comment, It had been address and fixed on the next shop.
