BJ's Brewhaus

I'm scheduled to do a lunch shop tomorrow. I want to reschedule to Tuesday to take advantage of the half price wine. I reached out to "bjs@msc.com" a few times, but no response.

Any suggestions? I don't want to be out of pocket for the shop.

I think Honny had the right email but chose to substitute @msc for @XXX in order not to create an ICA violation. Niner, you should edit.
My only suggestion would be do it on the date assigned if they don't get back to you. Around my area these shops go so fast that they do not move dates for people.

They will not reschedule these shops in my experience. I asked once and the shop was removed.

honny, I'm a regular working for them for years, they're not a fan of rescheduling, I 'd do it as promised, it may be held against you, just my thoughts. I have never rescheduled and they are difficult to answer quickly.

Thanks! I did not catch that!
Honny , your post is dated the 3rd so it sounds as if your job is tomorrow which is Tuesday. But just in case you have not gone yet I believe the 10 off 40 coupon is still in effect so you can save money there and order prob about $8 more of food. The Tavern cut pizza at 1/2 on Monday is a nice deal and they just sent me an email about their annual promotion of a free pizookie. If it is anything like past years you can make any size donation even $1 but I am sure more would be appreicated and they will give you a coupon to use within the next month or so for a free pizookie. You dont need to be buying anything else the day you come for your pizookie.
My personal favorite is Thursday. It's $13.95 for a 1/2 rack of ribs, with 2 sides, house salad (or soup) and a mini pizookie. $5 call drinks. Upgrade to full rack for $18.95.

In March, it changed to two sides plus a full pizookie. Soup or salad are options for the two sides, but I preferred the old deal of a mini pizookie plus basically three sides.
I have rescheduled a couple of times with them with no problem, but they are slow to respond via email. Your best bet is to call. They are in San Diego so they are still in the office.
My favorite dinner is Thursday, I had gotten a special prime rib awhile ago, good after 3:00 pm. Since I usually get their BBQ Chicken salad for lunch, any day works. I just had to cancel their Cuban restaurant due to not driving due to an eye infection, everything is blurry. They were great, a new scheduler emailed me telling me to get better soon, so nice, amazing company, and I got their check today, actually a bit early....honny, print out or use app for 10.00 off I believe on 40,00, used to be off 30.00 and do join their rewards program which they'll tell you about.

They changed the date. I found out when I was at the restaurant and had placed my order. I asked them to change it back, and they did.

I ordered a house red (wine), a side salad, and a tavern pizza for $21.

All you need to do to get a coupon is to have a phone with Facebook and Instagram. You literally just have to talk about pizookie and BJs and you will have a coupon in your feed almost instantly.
I prefer the daily specials over the coupons. With the coupons, I can't leave a decent tip and have it reimbursed.

Sign up as a Preferred Member and get points when you do the shops. You'd be surprised how they add up. They start to email you the coupons. BJ's is one of my regular places and I think I consistently get about $10 every other month for points and usually have a $10 coupon most times I go there.
I always end up taking food home, the BBQ salad is pricey but does serve two or two meals, and with being a rewards member, you'll get a free pizooki or 5.00 off, it does add up. They used to have this salad as a lunch salad for less $, but changed that. My problem now is they have so many jobs that need being carded, so bringing someone up to 30 years leaves me out, and the regular jobs get snapped up. For a chain, their food is good, I love them.

Honny, they allow you to use both. Back last year the coupons were 10 off 35 so it gave you room to order 35 worth of food for 25 leaving room for tip and tax. Now they are 10 off 40 so it will not quite cover tip and tax but you still can get an extra 10 worth of food for just a few dollars out of pocket. Not sure if it includes alcohol as I usually dont order that. So you can take home another meal of leftovers for a few dollars. Unfortunately they do not seem to send the coupons frequently any more...used to be constant.
One thing that kinda stinks: if you dine in, you aren't allowed to say you are a rewards member unless the host or server asks about it. Twice on dine-in shops they didn't ask, so I couldn't get my points. I was allowed to add them after the visit using my receipt on their website, but still. I prefer their takeout shops overall, though, because I like to make sure that my food is reheated to kill any bacteria. Can't do that with salads, of course, but it's nice to reheat the pizza, wings, etc.. Since they don't care much about food comments with the takeout shops (primarily a customer service experience), it's fine.
Take out/pick up jobs here are impossible due to their getting Valet parking in front of BJ's and no longer have parking spaces at 5:00, so no parking, sometimes having to walk 2 blocks away, drag.

Yes, I have the same issue as Irene at my local BJ's and I do not see take out shops but pick up shops where I have to call from the car and they come out. I absolutely cannot park. The 5 slots for take out are always full by people somewhere in the shopping center for hours. There used to be a pull up in front where I could stop and call from but now the valet's from the next door restaurant no longer allow me to pull in there. I have done pick up a few times and have to circle the huge shopping center several times until someone finally leaves the pick up spots or any spot within sight of the front door. One time I waited more than an hour. I think they may have changed the rule to say I can now go inside if no one comes after a certain amt of time. Next time I snag a job I will check. This month they were all gone right away and I think it is because they had a coupon. Most months they do not disappear so fast.
That stinks. And yes, I was referring to curbside. Which brings to mind my beef with the MSC not reimbursing for the tip on curbside shops.
I only see these shops as age compliance shops that I can't do because I'm too old (never thought I'd say that at 45 HA!). Is this the same shop?

Jenny, you can do it but have to bring someone under 30 yrs to see if their carded.

Ahh ok @Irene_L.A. There aren't many under 30yo in my life anymore so I'll just have to visit on my own dime. smiling smiley

No Jenny, they have shops for people over 30. I do their curbside shops. They have: lunch shops, dinner shops, curbside shops, and age compliance shops. Someone must have already taken the curbside and dine-in regular shops in your area.
The dine in shops here have gotten less and less since the carded shops appear and are plentiful. I did my first eat in dinner in three months, always did one a month, and I said no pick ups here due to Valet parking.

They also have bar integrity shops. For that one, you pay cash. There's no age requirement.
