I did my first Wawa shop!

This weekend, I went to Wawa (who has just expanded into the South Florida market) I got a "shortie" hoagie which cost about $5.50. Reimbursement was $6.50 so I should have spring for the extra cheese! The report was EASY- all yes and no questions, one timing and no narrative. Only drawback is they are not that close to my house. $5 shop fee which they raise to $7 if you do the night shift shop.

As a Philadelphia native, I love, Love LOVE WaWa! I am so happy to see they are expanding.

They change their ordering requirements every quarter. Last quarter was a hoagie and coffee. Their coffee is better than Dunkin. The quarter before that was anything built to order.

I really want the coffee shops back.

If you do a shop in the fall, make sure you get a Gobbler (hoagie).

Gotta love WaWa!

A regular hoagie with sales tax in NJ is $6.28 and an oven-roasted turkey regular hoagie ups the cost to $6.39. Both are fully reimbursed. I got a Shortie brisket hot hoagie today and with sales tax, it was $6.71 and worth the $0.21 that was not reimbursed. Of course in "Tax Free Delaware", it would have only cost $6.29.

They frequently have promotions for $5 Classic hoagies.

I really want the coffee shops back.

It is a great dairy which also sells sandwiches and gasoline.
Yep, that was their origin in Philadelphia. I only know the gas stations. They made "WaWa" a household name.

LOL it cracks me up how defensive their cult following gets when you call them a gas station.

Of the three on my island in NJ, only one has gas. WaWa is and always has been a great company that treats it's employees well and are good corporate citizens. My sister works at a country club and the former president was a member there. He was the sweetest guy and gave bonuses to the staff for Christmas. I love WaWa. When I moved to Central PA and there wasn't WaWa, only Sheetz and Rutters, I was ready to move back immediately. I am so delighted that I found the company that does these shops!
