Ms.Baker - Sometimes the scheduler offers help because no one can pass the test. Some of the tests are VERY poorly written. Some ask questions about the side of the building or the side of a gas pump that can't be seen in the photo. Some ask questions about "facts" in an old version of the Guidelines. Years ago, I complained to one MSC Scheduler that the company I worked for as a trainer had an obligation to train employees and then make sure that the test tested the right information. The Scheduler rather rudely pointed out that I was a contractor and not an employee and therefore those rules did not apply. So, if a Scheduler offers me help, I take it. It may mean that there is a problem with the test. I have 4 years college and 4 years of grad school, and if I can't pass a test, have failed twice already, and have just one more chance to pass and keep missing 1 out of 30 questions, I call the scheduler.
