DQ Arrival audits?

I'm interested in more information about their arrival audits. I checked the search and the last thread on this topic is a few years old.

I have two main questions:
1. how do you leave discreetly, do you not check out? 1.1 How will the hotel know how many nights you stayed if you don't check out?

2. Is there a specific time you have to leave by?

More About Audits

I did one a year or so ago. It was pretty simple. It was a busy hotel and so it wasn’t too hard to just walk through the lobby and exit without feeling conspicuous. I didn’t check out but called a specific person after I exited and let them know the room number and that I had completed an audit. I think the expectation (at the one I did) was that you would get room service and leave shortly after. I was in the room for about an hour total. I was able to complete most of the report while waiting for the room service.

Was there a specific time you have to leave or anytime after room service?

I think you are supposed to leave within two hours. There's also a more specific time given so that they can have the room back. I think it's 9pm?

I need to remember to bring a takeout container for these. The food is okay but I'd rather get out faster.

The instructions said “after finishing your meal.” It didnt give an explicit time, but I interpreted that to be within minutes of finishing.

So is this a hotel that rents by the hour?

I have no idea what shop this is, but it must not be Dairy Queen like I originally thought...

LOL. No it is a regular room in a nice (where I live it's usually 4 or 5 star) hotel. You do a regular check in, get the key, go to the room, inspect the room, take pics, order room service, more pics, eat, then you leave the key behind and leave the hotel. There is a number to call to let the hotel know they were just audited so they can grab the key, take away the room service tray, and release the room so it can go to another customer.

That sounds pretty fun.

What is the fee/reimburse?

I too got fooled by DQ and opened it up last week to see if there were Dairy Queen shops somewhere. And every day when I look at the list of topics and see this one I still get excited there is a Dairy Queen shop somewhere even tho the first day I figured it out. It's hot outside so I must be secretly craving Ice Cream.

Me too...I want to find the Dairy Queen hotel...Love Dairy Queen.

The DQ Grills are nice. I like the concept. It's has a cafe-like set-up where you can spend time and relax. The "old" DQs were mostly just buy and leave places.

Me three! I want a Dairy Queen shop. I got a Haagen Dazs shop last month, wasn't nearly as exciting as I thought it would be.
