Yes, I have had this same issue. Recently where the building did have an address I found once parked and walking but when I drove by in heavy traffic the address was blocked from view by a large delivery truck parked in front of the building. The lot entrance was on a totally different street and had no address on it. I took a chance and went down the ramp and fortunately it was the right garage. This area has diagonal crosswalks and heavy foot and car traffic so you really have to concentrate on not hitting someone while driving rather than checking for non existent addresses.
Many home and office building owners assume they no longer need to post addresses on buildings because of GPS but GPS does not accurately tell you exactly which building is the one you want. A high rise will not have a posting on the outdoor signage of all the tenants inside.
As for recording the next door businesses I found that helpful on the msc that did that but it was so often an annoying thing to remember to check for their jobs with measly pay.

Parking garages! Yes, you have to find the right one on a busy City street while keeping all six of your eyes on surrounding traffic, pedestrians and other unknown obstacles. And you can't just stop to look around because you'll blocked traffic. And yes, why don't businesses have addresses on the outside? Especially fast food places. It would be nice if the bigger business had an address posted so you can get an idea of exactly where you are on the block.
