Fascinating.... I do a ton of work for Ellis - including video. I have always used a PV500 for them. All their instructions assume the use of the PV500 - including detailed instructions on how to fix a shirt to use the button camera. I would be very hesitant to use something else.
At the same time, as of this month, they have stopped offering the $10 bonus for using your own equipment for audio recorded shops - video, too, I think. Could they be looking for more economical ways to get their shops completed?
I also vaguely remember hearing a different MSC suggesting the use of different video equipment - which surprised me as the quality would be much lower. (I'd name it here, but I'm only about 75% sure I remember correctly and don't wish to introduce false information.)
