Hrm. Those are the time rules that have been in place as long as I can remember. At least I thought. You can do 1 per meal period.

Removed. This post violates the ICA policy that states MSC and Client can not be named together.

I guess the new ownership of Sonic insists that XXX enforces the time rules that have always been in placed.

Uh oh. ICA violation. Cannot reveal client and MSC.

I do Sonics for ANOTHER MSC that has them. I think I did three dinner drive-thru shops before (just taking a few bites for quality testing and saving the rest for later meals). THE OTHER MSC doesn't have that rule.

In fact, I think you can do literally as many as you're able to handle in a day......5,,,10.....20. I vaguely recall the owner asking for volunteers to do a route that was super long and where we could add a bunch of Sonics. ...I think...memory is a little fuzzy.

For me, the shop times for Sonic havve remained the same for decades: never.

I pretty much got sick every time I ate there. So, I quit eating there. Pretty gross, low quality food anyway. Their drinks are great.
I can eat their breakfast burrito. I do not like anything else there.

The only difference in my area is all shops for each release have the same shop type and time period. The client locations are to far apart for anyone to benefit from route shopping them IF the time periods were different.

Sonic is my guilty pleasure. I love the breakfast burritos and the mozzarella sticks. I could eat that for breakfast every morning. Mmmmm. I like the Footlong Chili Cheese Dog. Their Tater Tots used to be my favorite tots in the whole world ..... but either I've outgrown fried potatoes or they are doing something different and the tots are not as good. They seem too soft now instead of crispy.
I have done so many that I despise the food (which I wasn't crazy about to begin with.) But the drinks are fab and the money is good. Drive thru-10 minute max, ten bucks without bonuses, which I get regularly. I add them to every route as often as I can. Fresh iced tea and another $10 added to my total. That's a win. I take one bite of hotdog, one tater tot, evaluate according to the guidelines , toss the tots and bring the hot dog home to my dogs.

(I shop them for that other company.) They let you do as many as you want. I"m stacking two today. One location two shops, one for each company. I'll throw a circle k inbetween.
I have completed literally hundreds of Sonic shops in the past 2 years (all at a minimum of $25 plus reimbursement, many at $40 and $50 fees. Living in the sticks does have some advantages!). I have always been told by schedulers that there only had to be a minimum of 30 minutes between locations, and I never had that questioned by QC reviewers. I could easily do a route of 10 in a day, but that won't be a possibility now!

ETA: Well, the plot thickens! I just received a phone call from my favorite scheduler, who offered me my normal fee for 2 of my rural shops (that I had just looked at on the job board this morning). Those specific time frames that were listed on the job board just a few hours ago don't seem to apply when a scheduler calls to offer them. I took both shops and when I asked about those time restrictions, she simply said that no, I could do them from 6:00 am - 9:45 am or 11:00 am to close, as always. The shops that are remaining on the board still show those time restraints, so I guess if no one takes them and a scheduler has to bite the bullet and call, they go out the window. At least, I hope that's the case, because I NEVER take one right off the board. Maybe there is hope yet!

Yes, 10 Sonics a day, with a few gas stations in between. As I said, I live in a very rural area and these are all very tiny towns (most times, Sonic is the only FF place in these towns), so there aren't homeless people just hanging around to give it to. I work a regular Mon-Fri 8-5 job, so my shopping is done mainly on the weekends. My fiance' usually goes along and drives me. I can do the shop and fill out the report on my way to the next town.I take the required taste test of each item, then if he wants it, it's his to eat. Otherwise, I put it in an insulated bag with ice packs and take it home to have later (the burgers warm up pretty good if you hold the lettuce, tomato and pickle). Even if there were homeless people around to give it to, I wouldn't consider it because I couldn't ask someone to take food I had already eaten from. If I see anyone who appears down on their luck, I'll just get them their own meal.

It's a win/win situation for me and my fiance'; no reports to do when I get home, we get to see the beautiful countryside and wildlife while spending quality time together, and make some $$ at the same time. The fact the he loves Sonic burgers, onion rings, and cherry limeade is just an added bonus!
