You never know what you will see or hear. I was on a fast food shop dine in and they were busy so the wait was longer. Two guys, one old, one young, and the young guy had a marine cap, older guy asked him about his service, and they started talking. Old guy was in Vietnam, younger guy Afghanistan. They were swapping a couple of fascinating stories.
A couple of weeks ago I was on a shop, and the cashier struck up a conversation about her current medical issues. I'm a good listener, and she needed an ear.
You never know.
