My second rejected shop? Maybe? - UPDATE

Well I feel like an idiot. I was on a short day and it was my last shop - a bank inquiry I have done a million times. It has this simple (and very clear) guideline: Do NOT shop between 11:00 and 1:30.... Well my pathetic little brain (despite writing it in bright red on my daily schedule) swapped numbers and thought the "no shop" times were 11:30-1:00.... So, pleased that I could be done before lunch, I walked into the bank at 11:08 and conducted the visit.

#@?!
I emailed the scheduler about 45 minutes later -when I realized my stupidity. I have not heard back, but I received a mass email from him and the shop is still in my log so.... I've filled out the survey and can now only hope.

Alas.

Yep, i did the same thing recently on a lunch shop...I was so happy to get to lunch within the window until I started to fill out the report. We all make these bloopers once in a while. Glad to see you are human like the rest of us.
AAAAArg! Well, it means that you will be able to truly empathize when comforting a new shopper who does the same. How many times have you read, here, that "even veteran shoppers are not immune to..." ? Welcome to that club. lol

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Oh, sorry....and this was the second time? Ouch. Ok, but you will probably be extra careful next time.
Second rejected shop ever - the first was a valet parking shop.

I still have not heard back from the scheduler or editor (whom I also emailed), so maybe....?

Well, ok then. You don't sound like the type to goof twice on similar shop types. I've made plenty of goofs over the years.
I hate that feeling, too. Some companies are more forgiving than others... I’ve made that mistake before with Mercantile Systems and they’re really patient and helpful. So, fingers crossed for you!
MFJ..fingers crossed, your such an amazing shopper, I say "let it go" to the scheduler.

Live consciously....
Not two years ago, I did a grocery shop that has different times for the weekdays and weekends. I shopped on a Friday with weekend times. Needless to say, the shop was rejected. Guess, that was my brain yelling " Woohoo, Friday..weekend.!!"
I did a McD shop way back in the beginning and I went at the wrong hours for Sunday and ordered the wrong menu item for the day. Yep it was rejected.
Also shopped an airport bar, you were supposed to order a well drink so the bartender could upsell the liquor. So worried about a well drink, I don't drink, what did I do? Promptly sat down and ordered white wine. Arrghh. MSC let me use the upsell interaction of the customer seated next to me. YaY I got paid.
Just recently, did a shop the in the afternoon when the start time was actually midnight, so the next day. Not sure why I got the start days mixed up. I had some really 'good' (read not so good) stuff to report. This MSC was so very awesome and took my report anyway.

I am always afraid I'm going to do that, even though I've done many of them! So far so good...but it seems so easy to do.

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley
Woo-hoo!!!
I never heard back from the scheduler or editor, but.... It shows as a "10" in my shop log with the comment "Well Done." I guess the client was "okay" with my screw-up (this time).

Still at only one rejected shop (aside from a few tech snafus with recording equipment...)
