Just felt like sharing . . . . Did my first ever mystery shop at an amusement park. If employees upsold me on a beverage, they received a $50 gift card on the spot and their manager also received one. One employee received her gift card and as I was walking away, she ran to the back and I could hear her screaming and then all of her co-workers cheering. At another stand, one employee was so happy that she was dancing through the back area. Even after I left, I turned around and she was still dancing.
Has anyone else done these types of on the spot shops and had similar experiences? I always thought they were weird and never signed up for t
Done a zillion of them in my area.......since 2013. I like doing them and I can bring family since they have a pass to the one I shop. It is nice to come back and have the manager sign the paperwork and let the employee know they did a good job. The look on their face when they get the envelope with a gift card is great. One time I had some woman get it who only worked 1 day a week because the other days she was a caregiver for someone. It is always interesting to see the reactions of others once the person gets the card(s). A few times I have had employees say how they saw me in their line but I was called to someone else's (TRUE) or any one of other comments. It feels great to give someone cards that might be worth more than they got paid that day. It is also nice, every so often, to have someone NOT get the cards because they messed up. This way the MSC and Client see I am not "rubber stamping" people but paying attention. Overall these these visits are nice - I have 1 more left on my schedule
