Texas Roadhouse. What Happened?

I was assigned to two Texas Roadhouse shops, and today I get two emails saying not to do them. Those shops were cancelled. No further explanation. Anyone know what's up?

Have you checked the job board to see if Texas Roadhouse is still on the job board? Maybe it's a mistake that someone clicked on a box that triggered the email. I think it's worth an email to ask the scheduler what happened and please let us know.

TR isn't showing as available within 200 miles.
Are you near hurricane areas? Companies often cancel shops in areas where bad weather is imminent. Sometimes, even within a large radius.
Robin emailed me asking if I could reschedule two storage unit shops to next week. She said it had to do with the client.

I am not sure, but a mystery shopper had a bad experience with a Texas Roadhouse where discrimination might have been part of the complaint. They might be putting all shops on hold while they review what happened. Again, I am not sure.
There are at least a dozen available in NJ.

If you are in areas where they are concerned about the storm then this makes sense.

Also, the new shops are out for September. They had leftover shops from August which they probably cancelled at this point.

I'm guessing. And it's just a guess. That both the MSC and TR would consider this a breach of your ICA.

There are still a huge number of TRH in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Illinois, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and probably further.

Could it be that you booked the shops with a bonus and they were August shops and they decided to change the shop, move it to September and not bonus it. I see several of them that are bonused almost every month but now the bonus is gone and there are several at the same location. Also, if I remember correctly, the MSC uses a scheduling company sometimes and they may have accidentally left it on the board too long or extended the date into Sept and should not have?
Did one Sunday night, and still getting emails for shops in Pa. and Md.

Chilo, where did you get this information.

But not confidential enough to share originally....

If you aren't sure,Chilo, you shouldn't spread gossip. You should change your previous post (which is likely an ICA violation anyway).

The easiest way to find out would have been to ask your scheduler.

That said, they are still available in my area.

I just completed a shop for them this evening. Submitted my report and received a 10 rating 30 minutes later. Great salmon and grilled shrimp. Delicious!
Everyone else used their name. Too many rules. I never got involved with the forum for these reasons and decided to stop. Not worth all the negativity.
You do realize that the ICA violation is not with the forum? ICA stands for Independent Contractor Agreement, which is the confidentiality agreement you signed with the MSC, not the forum. When you discuss details about the MSC's business with the client that should be kept private (confidential), that is a violation of the ICA, not with the forum.
