Wyndham Report

I have a Wyndham shop coming up in the next month. I reviewed the report and a bit confused. Hopefully others here can explain what they have done.

Basically, under each interaction, we have to score several things as "Exceeded Expectations, Met Expectations, Fell short of expectations." We have to score this for questions like feeling special, feeling content, feeling relaxed, etc.

Are they wanting an explanation for ALL of those elements? For example, if I mark feeling content as just "met expectations" and feeling relaxed as "fell short of expectations," I'm supposed to provide a narrative for each??? That would make the report exponentially long. And do we have to comment if something exceed expectations??

I believe that you do have to comment for each, but it's been a little while since I have done one. The report has a lot of sections and is very time consuming, but not too bad over the course of two days. It probably took me 2-4 hours total to complete the report, but it didn't feel that long because I filled in each section right after I completed that scenario.
Yes, you have to comment if it's anything less than exceeded. I believe it's explained in the guidelines...could be wrong about that part though. I love these shops. Hoping they pop up in my area again soon. Many of them near me understandably took the summer off.

ETA: I don't think you have to comment on the feelings unless they're negative. If you're not clear after reading the guidelines (on any of the things you asked about), ask the scheduler, who is very helpful and responsive!

I've never been assigned one of these shops despite applying several of times.

General rule of thumb, every negative requires a response and if there's a comment box it likely should be filled.
You mean to tell me I have to comment even if it’s a “met expectations” and not exceed?

There’s a bunch of those for random things like... feeling content, feeling special, feeling happy, and many others ... all of these for every interaction...

Correct. I have been contacted for not doing so, so I can confirm. smiling smiley Honestly it's not that different from many MSCs. I think what threw me off was that "meets" sounds normal, while "exceeds" sounds like above and beyond. But like many MSCs, they want to know what opportunity to exceed your expectations they missed. Not unusual. As I said, for the feeling at the end of each section, I think you only have to comment if it's negative, which is logical. If the interaction made you angry, they want to know why you're angry, etc. Also not unusual. Again, check the guidelines and/or ask the scheduler if you're unclear, but that has been my experience.

Personally, I find these much less involved and with much more downtime than typical hotel shops, and they are usually in beautiful locations. Also I have had nothing but positive interactions with this MSC's schedulers and editors. That's why these are some of my favorites.

I am curious if anyone has had this issue. I just signed up for one of these with the Extra Holidays booking. I can only do weekends because of my work schedule but every weekend the price is more than $200, which the guidelines state it must be under $200. I contacted the scheduler and told them I can't make a reservation because of this but I haven't been unassigned yet. Has anyone gotten them to cover rooms more than $200 for the night?
Careful....the client name is already in the title of this thread and you just named the MSC by their initials.

Shoot, you're right. My bad. I got it confused with the other thread. Reposted and corrected.
