Forum job board

Beginning shortly after I was told of this forum and continuing to this day, I estimate I have accessed the forum job board on 1000 occasions, at the rate of twice or thrice weekly. My current earnings from those visits is zero. While I will continue that action, I am curious if others have different results; please share.

I have only ever gotten one job because I saw it on the forum's job board. That may be because in recent years I tend not to go to the job board any more because it hasn't had much on it that I'm interested in.
I don’t use it because I cannot see jobs that are just in my geographical area.

I scan it occasionally to see what MSCs or schedulers have various types of jobs. If I am interested, I may email them to see if they have similar jobs in the areas that I shop. Especially when starting out, anything to get a peek at which MSCs are doing what types of clients!!

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
In my experience, I have better luck with direct contact to my schedulers. By the time the jobs hit the board here, they are taken.

I take a peek at it every once in a while to see what jobs are out there in other areas or to see if there is someone posting that I'm not signed up for.

Shopping the South Jersey Shore
I use it regularly to find new MSCs with shops in the areas I cover.

I have found many jobs through contacting new MSCs in those areas.

By "new", I mean companies I'm not signed up with already.

I use PrestoInstaMaps the same way.
Just figured out an easier way to use the forum job board. I searched the forum messages using the name of my city. The results showed several jobs I might look into. Obviously works better if you are in a small to medium sized uniquely named city and not something like NYC or LA.

Use all available resources.

A Dad shopping the Ark-LA-Tex and beyond.
And it saves (or at least CAN save) lots of time....targeted search so much easier than checking multiple job boards daily.
Very occasionally. I only find postings I was already aware of from emails or postings that make me wish I lived in other states!

I quit using Prestoinstamap a long time ago I mean I only need and oil change 2 to 3 times a year now. I do not have a 17-year-old to go do the smoke shops with. You can only filter it down to one. At least in Maritz, you can select which ones to check out.
