When I shopped full time and took assignments for cash (the higher the fee, the better), I never did these. They just did not seem appealing.
In this area, they look like they get taken at $30.

They are going for $200 plus here....and me without a car!

These are truly quick and easy shops! They can be a starting point for routes or added to other routes.

These are currently my favorite shops. 20 mins max. Scooped 5 with the heavy bonus.

Oh, crud I had done one last week that had a $15 bonus.
They seem so foreign to me, I’d feel like an idiot- maybe I need to research for future reference! I saw them too.
For different shop types:
- ATV is not the same as UTV! Read the guidelines and memorize the one for each shop.
- Age of rider is important for the integrity shops. Younger riders must meet size/weight requirements. Certain vehicles must not be sold to/for youngsters!!!!! This is a safety and legal issue.
- You might think of something from past or present real experience that suggests an objection. (My mother will come along for the ride but will not drive, lift, or load. She loves to adjust things, but her arthritic hands will not be able to manipulate the manual window controls. This fake objection might lead to the electronic window controls and/or the lifting mechanisms. You, the dutiful child, just love to buckle and and unbuckle the seat belt for her. )
- Some of these vehicles can be all tricked out!
- Some people just want the basics, such as a winch or a tool box.
- On your own time, you can research websites and get brochures from locations where you are not planning to shop.
- etc.

I realize that the UTV's are for utility and the ATV's are for "fun"...but my 23-year-old cousin bought an ATV earlier this year and flipped it the following weekend, died on the spot, leaving behind a husband and a 3-year-old son. She even had the roll cage on hers, and it was indeed tricked out. She had been riding other people's for several years with no problems, and it was something she and her husband enjoyed quite a bit. Now her parents (my first cousin and husband) and her husband and son are lost and grieving. There are lots of accidents on those things. Maybe the UTV's are a little safer (there are still crashes on those as well) but the ATV's, no way. They can't pay me enough to help them with any market research supporting the sales of those things.

SEA, do you think these accidents are "freak" accidents? Do you not know that they happen all the time, and the occurrence of them being so frequent makes them not "freak" accidents?
They do not happen all the time. There is risk involved, as with any operator and any vehicle.

This is a compiled list of atv safety factors and typical factors in accidents. Many of these are fully within the control of the riders.
Note well that during the first month of use, an inexperienced rider is thirteen times more likely to incur an adverse incident. For experienced riders, the risks decrease with time and practice.

They happen too frequently to be considered "freak" accidents: 650 deaths and 100,000 injuries per year.

My God. Of all points to argue ad nauseam, why would you choose this one? You really need to look at yourself this time.
People play Russian roulette without killing themselves, too, until they do one day. Keep putting yourself in a dangerous situation repeatedly and it could happen to you one day as well. How often do you ride ATVs, SEA? Or you must have a lot of friends and family members who own and ride them on a regular basis? I know of one other person who rode them for years and then suddenly got into an accident and got killed: my neighbor's friend from high school lost her husband at 41 years old that way. I didn't know him but I met his wife after she had been widowed for several years. My cousin's daughter had been riding them for about 4 years off and on (of course she wasn't riding them when she was pregnant with her son).

I apologize to the OP and others for going off about it when this thread was created to inform about a money making opportunity. I get why some people might want to do these shops. I am not one of them and I think that point has been made very clear, so I have nothing more to say.
