Applied for 20 jobs accepted for 1! It's that kind of month.

The experience is on par for this month. I applied last night for around 20 jobs due this week. I was scheduled for 1 that is over 30 min away. It's been my slowest month ever. Don't get me wrong I'm seeing jobs posted but nothing paying enough to cobble together a route that would pay more than min. wage let alone travel expenses. Oh well it's a nice time to get some work done around the house.

That never happened to me yet. My acceptance rate is closer to 90 %, but then I do many of them by request. Maybe you should have applied for 1000 shops and got assigned 50?

Bummer. Are you able to fill the free time with other work or with something fun?

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. - Lao-Tzu
I hate when that happens. In my experience as soon as I start doing something else the jobs will appear and desperate schedulers will be calling and texting me. Then I go off and leave whatever chore I was doing half done. It became clear while I was typing this why my house and yard are a mess.
I as well find much less work, reasons being, many jobs I no longer want to do, age requirements (I understand),
not driving freeway for a measly 15.00 and am doing restaurants only, 80% by choice. Guess I out grew my desire to work and as my fellow shoppers know, Los Angeles has way to many shoppers, many willing to take low paying jobs. I am officially retired...smiling smiley

Live consciously....
Sorry that it hasn't worked out this month.
I did about 40 bonused gas stations this month. I'm looking forward to a 3 day weekend at a resort this weekend.
It has been steady. I haven't really been trying, other than the gas stations.
Way to cheer someone up!

Yes and yes. Sometimes a more or less forced hiatus from work is good. Otherwise all those house-related things never get done!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I’d think that he’s just saying that it’s not a typical experience, at least for him? It’s not my experience either. I don’t know what to say? Apply for more companies? Do better work? Do a better job of networking?

It does come in waves for me. I’ve been lazy lately and not trying hard because it seemed slow. I put a little extra effort in this month and opportunities are now coming. I also took the time to go back and review all of the boards and sign into my accounts. I hadn’t done any 5 guys for awhile, and the MSC hadn’t called me. I do one at the normal rate and now they are calling again for bonuses shops.
I looked into some of the MSCs websites I hadn't heard from in a while and found that the e-mail option had been changed to no. I fixed it and am not getting their e-mails again. Same with a couple of MSCs I just signed into the website for the first time in a while.
Same.. one client increased their rotation timeframe and Service Check posted on their website that they have discontinued their audits for Sept and Oct. I hope they come back. I enjoyed their grocery shops. Time to apply for more MSCs!!
