Is this the one where they come to your house? I did one of those about four years ago. They show ID are dressed in medical attire, bring a scale, take your blood pressure, a blood sample and a urine sample. Very simple and easy visit, I can't remember the report but I believe I felt it was fair pay for the time involved since I didn't have to leave home..
Yup. I am a 'hard stick' and also need a blood test every three months for thyroid. I have an easy system in which I pay out of pocket for just the thyroid (very affordable) and the doc orders anything else when they want that. I am not going to mess with my workable little system, lol.
I, too, wonder about the destination of the collected samples. Are they sent directly to a legit lab? Discarded? Used, if clean or healthy, in those substitute products people can use when attempting to pass drug tests?
Each to their own, but I would not give a urine or blood sample to anyone but my Primary Care.

Years ago I did a urine drug test for a MS company (it was supposed to be for employment screening). It paid $25. I noticed that the price on those went down. But no way would I allow anyone to take blood from me for a shop...well maybe I would do it for $100. I hate needles.
