Deactivated Account

There is a company that I have done a handful of shops for that has deactivated my account.

Last week I couldn't login. I tried resetting my password and it didn't work. I emailed them that I am having trouble logging in and I received a reply that the last shop I did is being investigated by the fraud department. I was confused as to why. The shop was very straightforward and I have done a few of them for them. I take good notes immediately after my shop and have photo documentation. I ask for whatever proof they are requesting. All of the feedback from my reports has been positive. I just don't understand.

This company doesn't have a lot in my area so it's not a huge loss, but it really bothers me that they would think I would intentionally do something fradulent. I am a very honest person and I take my work very seriously. What also bothers me is they said nothing to me. They did not contact me to ask me any questions at all. This shop is seriously so simple I just can't understand what could have gone wrong. It wasn't even a shop where the employee was out of line or rude.

It sounds like there isn't anything I can do to change their mind. I'm assuming I won't get paid for the shop, but does anyone know if I will get paid the rest of what they owe me? This particular location is shopped by other companies as well. Should I avoid accepting those shops because of this? I am so bothered by this and would just really like to know what it was they feel I did wrong.

The only company that ever deactivated me without telling me or getting my side of the story was Marketforce. Someone lied about what I was doing at the shop, and when I signed in later that week to find new jobs I was not able to. I made a big stink about it at the time but they didn't reinstate me either.

Once a MSC deactivates you they never reinstate you. I've been deactivated by a few companies, mostly for following their instructions and giving them information they didn't want and then arguing with editors. And one time, after years of working for this company, I scheduled two of the same job, at different locations, the first job I did made me ill, and I had to reschedule the second one, but instead of rescheduling me, they deactivated me.
I have been deactivated by MarketForce twice. The first time was because they kept getting the emails bounced because they overloaded the email servers that I use in the Netherlands. (It was the only place that I could use my name that had not been taken by someone by the same name.) I called a scheduler in Ga and we got it cleared up and I rarely get an email from Marketforce now. Just take a survey to win a card uh no thanks. And the second time was when I was sick and in and out of the Hospital had to cancel too many shops. I sent them an email and they reinstated me again. I do not think I will get another chance though. Although I did just have to cancel $400 worth of shops for this week and next due to having pneumonia I guess the Prevnar 13 did not take like it was supposed to solve that reoccurring problem or it does not work with cancer patients.

It is probably something trivial like the wrong time on the receipt or a case of misidentification (some a-hole was identified as the shopper). Getting the mystery shopping company to admit to their mistake is difficult to say the least.
Calling your report Fraud is serious, I would get to the bottom of it. Something happened, I'd want to know what.

my thought exactly. was the shopper paid for this shop ? did you keep records ? I would follow up on this for sure. This could tarnish your reputation as a shopper. very disturbing indeed.
That is absolutely not true. I was deactivated by MF 2 times, the first for flaking when I first started and the second because I worked 2 full time jobs and didn't do any shops for over a year. I have been deactivated by a few companies because I hadn't checked in or my email got bounced into spam. You can often get reactivated if you've been deactivated.
