There is a company that I have done a handful of shops for that has deactivated my account.
Last week I couldn't login. I tried resetting my password and it didn't work. I emailed them that I am having trouble logging in and I received a reply that the last shop I did is being investigated by the fraud department. I was confused as to why. The shop was very straightforward and I have done a few of them for them. I take good notes immediately after my shop and have photo documentation. I ask for whatever proof they are requesting. All of the feedback from my reports has been positive. I just don't understand.
This company doesn't have a lot in my area so it's not a huge loss, but it really bothers me that they would think I would intentionally do something fradulent. I am a very honest person and I take my work very seriously. What also bothers me is they said nothing to me. They did not contact me to ask me any questions at all. This shop is seriously so simple I just can't understand what could have gone wrong. It wasn't even a shop where the employee was out of line or rude.
It sounds like there isn't anything I can do to change their mind. I'm assuming I won't get paid for the shop, but does anyone know if I will get paid the rest of what they owe me? This particular location is shopped by other companies as well. Should I avoid accepting those shops because of this? I am so bothered by this and would just really like to know what it was they feel I did wrong.
