You would really allow someone to deliver your Five Guys? Ugh, I would be worried, personally. I would rather watch them shake the baskets and make sure no one has their hands in my fries. Not to mention fries would be cold by the time they drove the 20-25 minutes to my house. I see them, at locations in my area, not going to do them, nope.
Fun Fact 1: FG places their fries over the burger in bags so that the burger stays warm (fries on top sealing in heat). Some delivery companies use those food heat bags.
Fact Fact 2: My sister delivers for FG and doesn't do any nasty stuff to people's food. I will say that her car is nasty! Lots of stains and what not. But, she just takes the food, places it in a heat bag, and goes. I wouldn't imagine a FG delivery driver being any more unscrupulous than a pizza delivery driver (from whom we order from not infrequently).
Lastly, it's about the convenience for those shops. ...Sometimes you just don't want to leave home.
Cold night? Delivery shop is great!
