What would you do?

I incorrectly scheduled a shop for yesterday thinking it was for today. Reluctantly I tried to reschedule but the system wouldn't let me so I sent a message to reschedule on the assignment. After my shops yesterday I had time to complete this shop so I did in order to keep my commitment. I submitted my shop and had an email this morning from the scheduler that she could reschedule it. I emailed back and told her I ended up doing it.

She did reschedule it for today and now it looks like I need to do it. I sent a message on the shop and said it was complete and asked if I needed to do it again. I didn't get a reply from either message I sent today. This was my first shop for this MSC and I've already messed it up and I don't want to mess if up even more. Will it hurt to do it again? Should I do it again? I don't want to do anything else to mess this shop up so I am torn with what is the best thing to do.

Can I assume that yesterday when you performed and submitted the shop was within the acceptable shop window? Generally you can not report a shop outside the acceptable shop window and generally if the shop has been reported, the scheduler can not reschedule it unless the shop was rejected for some reason.

I can't start to tell you what the scheduler did, but if the shop is still showing open tomorrow and you have not heard from your scheduler, I would redo the shop assuming it wasn't many miles away and/or with a substantial expense.

Thank you flash. Yes, when I did the shop yesterday it was still within my window. I've never shopped with this company before so I figured when I submitted the shop it would show as complete and no need to reschedule.

My area is small so the shops is only a couple of miles away and I was passing it on an errand this evening so I stopped and did it again. I just haven't had this come up again so I don't know if that is against any rules. But just in case I was expected to do it again today, I did. Even though I had to make another small purchase, I would rather keep a good relationship with the company than have any strikes against me. I haven't updated my report yet in case that was a big no no. As of now my report still has last night's info in it.
