HAM!!!

Did the Field Agent. Pay wasn't much, $4, but the ham was $25.

Shop approved before I even got home.

I saw this in your other thread. That's a great deal, even better than their pizza shops.
I took one of these for next week, based completely on your recommendation. Being that this is our crazy season with the teenager on the Varsity Quiz Bowl team, Varsity Bowling Team, and Girl Scouts, not having to cook will be much appreciated. Thank you!

KarenMSW how did you take one for next week? I thought Field Agent shops could only be taken and completed within the few hours allowed. Is there another level available to shoppers after reaching a higher score on their site? I do some shops for them, but only if I am out anyway since the fees are usually low.
That would make sense. I thought maybe there was a "secret agent level" that I had not achieved. LOL

Nope, I only saw a ham shop for a specific date and time early next week (maybe they're different in my area?). I remembered cease's post and snapped it up. No secret level that I know of. I'm really not that special... I actually haven't done any for these guys in a really long time.

Trivia - my Mom went to high school with the daughter of the man who invented the special slicing method. Oh, and "Secret Agent Man" will now be my ear worm thanks to you guys...

Wow. Partly I posted this because I remember in years gone by posters coming on the Forum and asking "Where's my Ham?" LOL. I was really surprised to find them on Field Agent. The ones I see are not for a later date, they are for right now.
I did mine on Sunday, still not approved sad smiley LOL I'm sure it will be though. Sometimes they are slow.
Not all fees are low. Just two days ago they had Cellular shops in nearly every town, sometimes more than one in each town paying $16 each. For the price y'all keep taking shops off the board for, might as well make a route and pencil them in.
The ones in my area are not Field Agent and the only date that they can be done in next Monday. Photos required.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I have a Monday shop next week, too. No pay to speak of, but that ham will be payment enough :-)

Yes, full reimbursement for the cost of the ham makes it well worth doing. I have a shop less than one block from the store where I'll get the ham! $45 for a gas station, $50 for a retail, $70 for another gas station -- and a ham is the icing on the cake, LOL!!!!
WOW! I've been trying to find shops to justify my 30-mile round trip for the shop with no luck so far.

LOL, we had a 200 mile round trip. Three shops for the friend who drove me, 4 shops for me. A good day! Now we EACH have a ham! $165 trip for me (plus ham!), close to $100 for her. Win-win!!!
My biggest issue is that I don't like ham. Wish it was turkey. But I'm glad it worked out for others!
I have plenty of friends and neighbors who will help me eat the ham. And I just love great northern beans cooked with ham into a thick, hearty pottage!
I got a smoked turkey wing and some breast meat on a shop sort of wished I had not bothered.
I am so thankful for this forum and the people who posted about the field agent one. I just got mine today for a friendsgiving! And I agree that the $4 is measly but the ham makes it worth it.
