Disney on Ice

Anyone performed any of these mystery shop visits? I was contacted but I dont see any comments on this, and it seems like a LOT of work. Any experience with these?

I was offered one last year. I was told I could NOT take a child. Ummmm, that's just weird. I didn't take the shop.

No Child. No doing it. The whole purpose is to bring a child

Gee golly whiz.

I went to Disney on Ice before with my girlfriend, not on a shop. The DIsney monopoly pulls deep in our pockets on us millennials for that childhood nostalgia.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
I did one years ago and could take a child. He got to buy something at every vendor. I told him some story that I won a contest and we had to pick out something at each table. He was 3, behaved wonderfully. We got all our work done before the show (except buying from someone in the stands). But no I wouldn’t do it without a child.

I LOOK FORWARD to the day I can go to Disney without my kids... (we go every year) but Disney on Ice, nah.

Victoria & Albert's is SOOOOOOO calling my name.
I completed one last year, it went well. I was told I could bring a kid if I was sure that it wouldn’t be a distraction

Lucky,,Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian? My husband and I have eaten there. What a treat! We were on something called the Grand Plan that was offered years ago and included anything and everything you could possibly do at Disney including limousine pick up and delivery to airport, room service, fishing, golfing, tennis, all parks and all restaurants. It was amazing. Nowadays it would probably be cost prohibitive if they even offer such a plan. My boys and husband and I were very active and enjoyed all the sports. Water skiing in the lagoon was great. I never thought of alligators back then. I would hope they no longer ski there.

Yes, at GF.
We own DVC (home resort is SSR) and go every January. Since we stay in a two bedroom villa we have a full kitchen and only do one character meal each trip. I cook every other meal, except Epcot day.... HAVE to eat your way around the World Showcase.
I love that Victoria & Albert's doesn't allow young children(and would never bring mine there as I want to enjoy a relaxing meal like that). We are 'park' people and Rope drop to fireworks every day for 7 days then come home exhausted from our vacation. Lol

I have not done Disney on Ice but I did do Circus Vargas several years ago,. It sounds as though this job would be similar. I did not bring a child with me but assume they may not want a child along, like other ms jobs, unless you had another adult there to supervise while you "shopped." I had to purchase something from 8 or so different vendor tables a few of them servng ice cream and other foods and also from several of the people hawking items in the arena itself and also purchase a more expensive photo of my group.. I would not have been able to do the job with a small child as I had to rush around before and during intermission to hit all of them. I did miss quite a bit of the show to finish up as the vendor tables were busy when regular customers were on line to buy from them. Also with the level of reimbursement I would not have wanted my child there trying to convince me to get the $35 item when I needed to spend somewhere around $5-10 in order not to go over budget. I ended up buying a few of the $10 items and then filled in with the cheaper coloring books at other vendors. If your child is one who will stand by quietly and let you choose a trinket item without raising a fuss and it is allowed then you could do it.
All in all I did enjoy the shop.
