Favorite Shops

I don't remember if we've done a thread like this before. What is your favorite shop? Not MSC. Just what is your favorite shop. I'm a fan of Kimpton Hotels. I did an overnight as a competitor shop.
My second favorite might be Elements Massage.
As far as food goes, we have a Chophouse that is delicious.
And as far as bars go, I love the Peninsula hotel.
So, fess up. Faves?

I like shops that actually pay money. We seem to go on a lot of dinner shops with no pay and then I need to write a report. The easier shops with a bonus are my favorites. I can cook at home. The bonused shops can go towards a bill.

I loved Larsen's steak house, Stop Chop (salads), upscale retail like Saks, Bloomingdale's, cosmetic's, but since I'm not driving into Beverly Hills, very limited up here in the subs...bank jobs have been good and doing a ton. Tired of hotels, too much work, airport jobs and
of course a nice bonus for a mediocre job works.

Live consciously....

Three thumbs up for Niner's post. Good pay in real money, reasonable report. That's for me.
I like post office shops, grocery shops, thrift shops (when I can get them), certain medicare shops, and some merchandising assignments.

ETA: Well, posted how I like thrift shops when I can get them, and lo and behold, TODAY they came up and I got TWO for next Monday...WOO-HOO!

I did a car wash today. $10 pay, plus a free car wash. Shop took five minutes. Report was about the same amount of time. Excellent.
Post office shops especially those nice highly bonused ones. Texas Roadhouse, Smokey Bones Late Night Bar, Best Buy TV Shops, Cell phone shops, Movie Shops, and $100 plus ATV, UTV, Motorcycle, or Car shops.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I'm still pretty new to this, but at the moment, I really like the contactless shops, and I'm looking for more banking shops since those are pretty nice to do.
Great question! My all-time favorites have been the concession shops at the theater because I got 2 theater tickets, drinks and snacks and parking for the cost of a report. Also, 5 star hotel in Maui club lounge floor with room service and bars was another fave. Honestly, I mostly take shops that I know I'm going to enjoy so I have many favorites. I even enjoy the parking lot shops that are at the beach, because I get paid to walk on the beach! (Which Is my favorite thing to do!)
My favorites are the retirement/assisted living/memory care jobs. Due to the cost of those services, some MSC's are willing to pay me an acceptable fee for a comprehensive shop.
Any shop in which I can get fully reimbursed clothing items or make up! Sketchers, Fashion Nova, Victoria's Secret/La Vie est Belle/Bikini shop etc even some obscure brands that were nice enough to let us have one of their overpriced garments smiling smiley Reports were easy and got the money back in a WEEK! These go SO quick so I'm always checking!

I cannot seem to find ANY shops for free shoes besides one MSC that allows you to do it only do ONCE a year sad smiley
I missed that boat real quick lol

Another fav is the Credit Card shops at grocery shops! I get to see what is on sale (window shop). The only problem is most of these shops can be AWKWARD to end but easy money!

Costco shops! I finally got a membership and it paid for itself in less than 2 weeks and now I get all the samples! There is even a Costco shop that pays for your membership (but haven't been able to get that one in my city!)

I just need a shop that pays for a gym membership and I would be set LOL

Gas audits are great, you can almost always get reimbursed gas.

The BEST shops for me are audits that are NOT item checks! These are my favorite! If I could I would do auditing only 2 to 3 times a week! Good pay AND easy report! Nothing to purchase!

Personally, the HARDEST shops to find in my city were those with FREE groceries. I've only ever seen TWO but I got one last month! What a blessing!

Happy Holidays and Happy Holiday Shopping!

This is going to sound really weird, but my favorite shops have been with the Original Mattress Factory. I worked at a department store during my college years selling furniture, bedding and carpeting, and these shops just took me back in time. I was still fairly knowledgeable on the subject, and felt like I learned something. My least favorite have been cell phone shops, and I’m choosing to not accept them anymore! smiling smiley

I used to love the bowling shops, cuz my husband and I love to bowl, and it's expensive around here. The bowling shops are getting less amazing, as they are only being offered during the the peak price times, so I've always ended up spending at least an additional $20 to keep my husband happy bowling and meet all the requirements for food, drinks, and arcade.

There are some good dining shops in my area that reimburse the actual cost of dinner and drinks, so I really like those, cuz i actually get to bank that entire $5 pay they provide! Woo hoo!
My favorite shops are probably gas audits because I'm very comfortable and often make really great money. The reports are easy as well.

Although I do enjoy the higher reimbursement dinner shops, they aren't my favorite because the report is usually about an hour - which is total worth the money but I don't usually feel like doing a report at 9 pm. I'm still on the fence on whether I'd prefer to just pay out of pocket and relax more at dinner or get reimbursed but do the report.
I like challenging shops which require paying close attention to detail, such as banking, investment, and lender compliance shops. Also, video shops. No restaurants shops tho.
I only like the dining shops because my husband can come with me and we can have a free date night. Date nights add up. I don't do dining shops by myself or with anyone else, except maybe my mom.

I wish there were bowling shops near me! Which MSC?

I love the few and far between shops where I get a really nice reimbursement. I am waiting for the next big one to come along...but in the past I liked the vet shops for my dog, Rag and Bone where I got my going out nicely wardrobe, several really easy small restaurant chains with easy reports so no pay was okay, and post office shops so I can send goodies to my kids. Also like the parking shops so I can park near other shops and get paid for it.
I'm a noob (4+ months) so my pool of shops isn't huge but I'd say so far I like:

- One particular bookseller's audits, especially when bonused. Crazy easy, the prep/study is like 2 minutes, the shop takes maybe 5-10, the report maybe 5-10 more.
- An oil change shop, I might not feel this way if I had a newer car but right now I drive a beater that I'll be getting rid of in the next 6 months so would like to score one or two more of these from this client. Have gotten some good bonuses and free $55 oil change (I live in a pricey area). Reports are pretty easy. Only drawback is wait can be long.
- For food, there's one burger chain and an ice cream chain. Can already do these in my sleep, which is an advantage when you are at my early stage of development where so many shops are first-timers or second-timers, which is always a bit of a wrench.

Least favorite: Nighttime shop at one gas station client. They want deep details around the pump and photos of violations, but they don't tell you that they're sending you into stations that use attendants after dark. Yeah OK, I'm going to photograph violations while the attendant is standing right there next to me. Sure. It's also awkward because I have to get out of the car to at least look for the required info, which no normal customer does if there's an attendant. Then into the store, which in my area is usually the size of a walk-in closet, where the client wants more violation photos while the clerk stares you down. The bathroom is the only refuge for photo taking. I have one more of these to suffer through on Monday night and then I am DONE, D-O-N-E DONE.

I'm new to shopping, 5 months. I've been doing mostly grocery shops and merchandising shops. I liking that I'm earning bonuses on the grocery shops (I'm in a rural area) the questions that no real shopper would ask are my least favorite thing. I like the merchandising shops because there is no report to write.
I like auditing gas stations because I like getting outside and meeting the locals. I like apartments because I like the focus I need to do them. I like video for the same reason. It's challenging. I like account opening shops and am not sure why. I don't like most food shops unless they are drive thru and bonused. but yes, if you want to pay $25 for someone to go through your drive thru, I'm your girl. I like grocery shops because I enjoy the awkward questions. It amuses me for some reason.
Credit Card Representative Shops are my absolute favourite type of shops. They are fast, and the reports are usually not too terrible bad. At least not with the few companies for which I have completed them.

I also enjoy Testing Centre Shops. These take considerably longer (in some cases you have to remain at the centre for several hours.) But I get paid to write an exam, I love writing exams. I know I am such a nerd.

My favorite shops have often been the special project shops. My absolute all-time favorite was the MasterCard project in 2017. Shops were super-easy, pay was reasonable, and I got to keep loads of merchandise.
Favorite: cruises. Depending upon the room and the itinerary, they're worth the effort. (Definitely NOT for an inside room.)

I also love getting paid both time and mileage to go pick up and mail something.

Banks , post office, apartments, & Tax prep are my favorites.

Did my first sports bar alcohol/cash handling compliance shop several days ago. Already addicted, want more more more.
