Was anyone lucky enough to snag a $50 Home Improvement Shop announced through an email yesterday?

I looked immediately, and there was not one within 100 miles of me. When I replied to the email if they had offered any in my area to begin with, they responded that they likely had been picked up already (in 5 minutes). Hmmmmmm.

I don't think they shop every location yet. It's still a pilot test. I've only seen a few locations in CA being shopped.
Have you tried going through Kern?

@HonnyBrown Are they scheduled by Kern? I thought Maritz handled the scheduling for these shops. The scheduling emails I get for these shops are from Maritz Team 3. I can see a location in CA on Martiz's shop board but not on KSS.

I did 4 of them a few months back. I was hoping we would get some more.

The email I got was from Maritz.
I did this shop for Maritz in October, in my hi-desert area.

They called me today with some hard-to-fill spots; deadline looming, bonuses handsome.

I had to tell her, alas, I did not have the $200 for the required purchases. "Oh, just put it on your card", says she. "Guess I didn't make myself clear. My card would BOUNCE if I tried to put $200 on it."

(I don't have any credit cards, just a debit card.)
I looked as soon as I got the email but the only one available was over 100 miles away.
Call them Monday and ask for a bonus for the 200 mile trip, add a few shops, and it's a route!
I did get a couple. Does anyone who has completed one (or more) of these have any tips or suggestions about them? Looks pretty detailed.
My tip would be make sure you get the photos right. If it's not showing the whole thing they likely won't approve the shop.
These seem like a whole lotta work for $50; I'm passing until I can get a bonus on one....

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
They want to finish these this week. Generous incentives. Call Team 3 or submit an offer.
I wanted to do at least one, but I was busy with the very late early job and hindered by reduced time for activities after that,

Tip that will make these easy and save the most time is go to your assigned store's website and look up the SKU for each of the 6 items and see where they are located in the store (aisle 32 bay 08, for example). I took about 5 minutes online and 60-70 minutes on site in each store, including the return.

Yeah, not sure why one would feel lucky to snag one of them at $50. I mean its OK, but hardly fantastic pay given the demands.

I like the home improvement shops for some reason. smiling smiley
I like them too. Especially in the winter. I like the miles I have to walk in those places. It's better than the treadmill at home because I'm getting paid.

Yeah, it's good exercise, but my feet hurt like hell after I got out of the mega-store the other day!

I did ten of them a few months ago. Easy shops. $50.00 for an hours work and an easy report.
Kathy1296, there is 10 home improvement places by you ?!?! Lucky! There's not 10 in my whole state. Lol

I saw an email yesterday for military base home improvement bonused up to $150 per. I don't have military credentials!
Yeah, it gets aggravating to see an email for a highly bonused shop but when you find it it is across the country.
I mean what the heck do they no longer look at distance to the shop or is it that they think everyone might be traveling.
