Has anyone done the delivery on 5Gs Burger shops?

I'm looking at this shop, considering taking it, but I can't look at the details until I accept it. I don't want to accept it unless I know for sure that I can do it. I live in the middle of nowhere, 8 miles from the store, so I'm not sure if I can get it delivered first off, and secondly, I'm not sure if the reimbursements are food/shake/delivery or if food and delivery are the same reimbursement. I wouldn't think they are, but.. I just don't want to risk taking the shop and then not be able to do it.

The order goes through a third-Party like GrubHub. Can’t recall who specifically delivers though for my area.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Go to the Five Guys website and try to order for delivery with your address. That is what I did. I am in between two Five Guys, and apparently just far enough away from each one that neither will deliver to me. You will find out if they will deliver long before you have to commit to payment.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
The guidelines do say that you can have it delivered to your office or a friend's house. I had mine delivered to my self storage unit, since the location that delivers to my home was not the one being evaluated. When I typed in the address for the storage place, both locations showed up and I had to choose. Make sure if you have multiple locations in your area that you have the correct one selected.
Great idea, Aquiest. I signed up for a location when they first started the delivery shops. The service didn't deliver to my zip code so I cancelled the shop. I didn't think to go to a nearby business where they did deliver.

Well, sadly, they do not deliver to my home. Probably a good thing, or I'd be doing that frequently, haha.

Good idea on the checking the website/delivery first. My 5G location almost always has shops that are bonused open, so, it's easier than doing the delivery shop, since they pay the same.

Or, maybe the delivery shops are easier? Maybe you don't cover as much information since you're not in store. Honestly, though, those shops are fairly simple reports.
I'm not sure wth is going on in my city but the delivery shops here are not good and they even have poor ratings on the apps. I've done at least 5 of them and only 1 has been good.

My food has been cold, bun has been wrecked, small fries amount and unfriendly courier. Even the milkshake once was watery!!!

I only like them for the milkshake and the convenience otherwise you get the best food instore. These days I only do them if they are bonused. I hope they improve it because no one is paying 25 to 30 dollars for crappy food.
Their BLT is my new favorite.

I saw one delivery shop a couple of months ago for my local 5G. Somebody else grabbed it while I was trying to decide whether or not to take it, plus I was hoping it would get bonused. But whoever got it took it at base pay.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I do these delivery shops about 4-5 times a month. I do the ones close to my job and the ones close to my home. Love them! They are super easy. The only thing that confuses me is sometimes the fee will be $6 and the other times $18. Lol....I take them no matter what because otherwise someone else will grab them. I just look at it as a free lunch or dinner with minimal work.
I have done a few. The last one, the woman dropped my milkshake and brought it to the door with no top on it, milkshake running all down the side and licked her fingers after she handed it to me. I threw it out after taking the photo.
I read somewhere that 1 out of 4 delivery people admit that they eat some of the food they deliver. If thats how many admit it, what is the actual number? Sounds like they were eating your fries.

I had stopped doing these cuz of the bun. Then heard about lettuce wrap option. Little burger BLT with cheese, new fav for me! I have noticed last 2 shops the fry amount is a lot less thou. To many thrown away? hmm

I haven't seen delivery shops in my area yet but delivery peeps eating my food makes me think I'll pass on that one. Hope the dropped milkshake deliverer had a complaint filed on them.

I did a delivery assignment last week. Initial quoted time was 30-40 minutes. It ended up taking an hour and 45 minutes. The burger was noticeably not hot (though still warm, not cold). The milkshake was soup. Very disappointing. The one I did about 6 months ago was not nearly as bad.

Between delivery cost, tip, service fee, and the outrageously high prices Five Guys charge, it came to $30+. Who the hell would pay that much 'in real life'?
Someone with too much money to spare, apparently.

I usually don't do the shops unless they're bonused because these are one of the shops that the reimbursement doesn't cover the cost of the food unless you get the cheapest thing on the menu. So, I'll do it for $18, because I will still get a decent amount of fee after what it costs for the meal, but only because I like them and really, the reports are fairly easy.
Really? I usually just get a little cheeseburger, little fries, and bottled drink and my reimbursement is always fully covered.
I haven't done one in quite awhile.
In my area (the last time I did one) only fountain drinks were allowed.

They never last long enough to accrue bonuses in my area, but for this one, I got $15 pay + full reimbursement on delivery + full reimbursement on the shake + almost full reimbursement on the meal (short about $1). Not bad in my book. And the little cheeseburger and little fries are usually more than I can eat anyways. They give you enough fries for about 4 people. lol
I signed up for one when visiting Florida last month. I needed to provide a screenshot of the delivery app showing the restaurant address. It wasn't on the Doordash app, had to cancel.

I believe that the number is closer to 60% eat some of the food. I have literally NEVER seen a gig delivery driver that I would want to even touch the bags that held my food. A good portion of them live in their cars.

True and they need to make the food more secure delivery shops are expensive AND overrated for 5G in my area
I've never had food delivered by 5 Guys, but I have been in the store when they've packaged the food for the delivery driver (DoorDash in my area). They always secure the paper bag with a 5 Guys sticker, I assume so the customer can tell that the food has not been tampered with. About half the time, the sealed bag then goes into a plastic bag before handed to the driver who then puts it into their (oftentimes filthy) red DoorDash bag before leaving.

Always filthy. The bags are gross.

A good portion of homeless people have severe mental illness. I usually step back to assess the situation and have done that more than once before realizing it’s just a door dash delivery person.
My reason for never never ordering home delivery, the visual is enough to go out to eat or cook at home.

Live consciously....

Delivery drivers who work exclusively for the restaurant are very different, but I never order delivery unless it's pizza. Uber eats, door dash, etc are just so gross.

Yeah, I live in the DC suburbs, and also in the richest county in the US (also where the 5G is located). Prices for everything are high. I do not get the little burger, though. And I always get the little fry and a little drink, but I usually don't eat all the fries. I'm usually there more for the burger than the fries. But, yeah, way lots of fries and plenty to share if you're eating with someone.
Yeah, if we're not in ww3 and starving to death, I would never order delivery. I saw investigation often on the local news that they eat the food or sip the drink when delivering. It's even caught on the ring door bell of the house. How disgusting.
