I was a massage therapist long enough to know how very important handwashing is, and I was already a germaphobe before that. I have hand sanitizer in my purse and in the door of my car. I sanitize my hands constantly if I am unable to wash them. I absolutely hate the restroom evaluation on shops but I suffer through it and I use paper towels to open the door with if they are available and then sanitize my hands immediately. I clean my cell phone constantly, too. I travel on planes with Lysol wipes in my travel bag that goes with me on the plane and a fullsize container of wipes in my suitcase. The first thing I do when I get on a plane is wipe down every surface I see. And I never read those magazines on the plane that everyone has touched, ewww. The container of wipes in my suitcase is to wipe down light switches, faucet handles, door knobs, remote control, toilet flusher and seat, and other areas in the hotel rooms. My husband joked about getting me a blacklight to take with me when I travel but I fear I would never stay in a hotel again if I used it.
