Lidl Grocery Shops?

I thought this came up a few months ago, but I can't find the thread if it did. Has anyone done one? There's one available here, but it's a 15-minute drive or more from here one way. Not sure it's worth it at $15. And I assume you can purchase more than the $1 required item? I could get some last-minute items for Christmas dinner. Grocery shops are few and far between in my area, and I've only done one other, so am a little unsure of being able to make this one work money-wise. I don't normally do $15 shops, but if I can get a new shopping experience in and get some food to boot, it might not be a bad idea to try it.

There will be one opening up on this side of town about 5 minutes from me, so I'm waiting with bated breath! LOL.

I did that shop in November. I bought a gallon of water for $0.63. I was reimbursed $0.06.

The shop is simple. You take pictures of the required areas. You have to make sure they are uploaded right side up or your report will bounce back to you. Try to go during the day when it's not crowded.

ETA: I sent the scheduler yet another email, and the MSC is fully reimbursing me.

Also, the shop is not worth doing for $15. Wait a bit, and it will go up to $25.

They should reimburse you fully, since you were under the maximum reimbursement amount! Glad you got that squared away with them. Maybe somebody on their end is bad at math! LOL.

If it hangs around long enough to get bonused, I'll try to get it. If it were down the street, I'd do it for the $15 to see what it's like. But the r/t drive is almost $15 worth of time....

I do see $25 shops, but where are you guys regularly getting these??? Most are $10-$15. I'm more of a reimbursement gal anyway, not taxable and more bang for my buck. Maybe it's just my state.
The shops aren't similar. The Aldi audit took place at a certain time on Wednesday and the following Thursday. You were counting items. The Lidl shop, you are taking a lot of pictures.

No. They are competitors and are not related. They are both out of Germany, though.

Isn't Lidl the same company as Aldi? So wouldn't the shops be similar?
Aldi and Trader Joe's are owned by 2 German brothers and they are competitors. The brothers fell out long ago, reportedly over the issue of allowing tobacco sales in stores. As far as I know, Lidl is operate from both of them.
