Have Chilis and Applebee's shops and actual restaurants "died" now?

Are they still around as shops? And, are they still thriving at all? Seems like they are not very pouplar with people I know.

I've literally eaten at both ONE time on my own dime in the past five years.

Our Applebee's here closed. The others above are still in biz, however.

Ummmm I don't consider Applebee's to be an "actual" restaurant that serves "actual" food!

They have a lot of people fooled. I am not sure if they are even open in Tulsa Ok and the surrounding area anymore. yeah but should have figured out when my stepsons' dad said that he would not set foot in one.

I last went with fam/friends was for their half off appetizers after 9PM.

$10 for wings was a lot to me back then. But, $4.99? A super bargain! I only went during 50% off app times.

I can't say anything about their regular menu, but we did enjoy their appetizers back in the day. For $20-ish, you could get a bunch late night (e.g, buffalo wings - which came with celery, chips and dip, loaded potato slices, etc.).

We always got water, so the bill was decent and the food was tasty and cheap. Good place to just chat. I liked their lighting and seating. But, that was 4-5 years ago.

They are gone now.

I saw a Chili’s shop last week.

I did a Chili's last year.

Applebee’s has a $1 specialty cocktail every month that’s amazing. May not be in all locations. I actually shopped the drink once.

Too bad they don't exist near me anymore. All closed down.

The last Applebee's shop I saw was last summer.

I have one scheduled for next month. The company is famous for deactivating for no reason. No pay but, $50 reimbursement.
