Is Arby's still shopped?

Agreed.

Strangely, the ones I drive by seem to be much, much busier than they were when I regularly shopped them! Perhaps they are doing so much better that they discontinued the shopping program. Perhaps they changed MSCs, or perhaps they are changing the frequency of shops.
I see them off an on every so often for the MSC that seems to do a lot of fast food. Haven't seen any this month yet, but had one in December.
I haven't seen any yet this year, my last one was in November.

Although their fees weren't exactly stellar, one thing i always appreciated about the Arby's shops was that Arby's was sensitive to the fact that some shoppers live in high cost of living areas. As opposed to this MSC's other fast food clients in my area, where the reimbursement is set in stone and if you go over while ordering the required items, you are SOL and stuck for the overage. Arby's would "bust the cap" and reimburse you above the stated reimbursement as long as you ordered what you were told to order. (Unlike say, Sonic, which not only doesn't reimburse above the cap but has the chutzpah to demand an explanation as to why you go over their meager reimbursement. Hey Sonic, I live on Long Island, capiche? kthxbye.)

Just as an aside, I am a noob (5 1/2 months roughly), an Arby's shop was the only one where I am pretty sure I was sussed out as a mystery shopper. Manager took the order, and the script required asking a question that I am pretty sure he had heard before, he didn't call me out but the gruff response and his penetrating stinkeye for the rest of the transaction told me he knew lol. (Such is life, I got paid so all good, NEXT! smiling smiley )

Sorry, but revealing such information is against forum rules and would violate most ICA's.

Plus, you'll be healthier not to eat there anyway. smiling smiley

They have only 3 within 30 miles of me. Not a big fan of this chain in So Cal.
Just saw my first Arby's job post on an MSC who's never posted them before. $8.50 reimbursement with no job fee. First assignment is in March. At much as I love their Reubens, I don't think so...

OMG I just saw them today with no fee for the same MSC, but I haven't eaten there in years and they would really have to pay me to get me to eat there...if I was allowed to order whatever I wanted. They did have some good salads with Mesclun field greens that I enjoyed, but you have to get whatever lame sandwich the MSC wants you to order, so...no thanks.
One just showed up today on the job board of the same MSC that has been doing them in my area, but for reimbursement only.

It's not even reimbursement. It's a coupon.

The MSC has always covered any overage.

Really? I saw a few today, but with the MSC that had been handling them previously. $0 fee, $8.50 reimbursement. No thankee.
When the same MSC had these shops with a fee, the required combo was over $10.

Prices are not as high where I live, I have never paid more than $9.00 for the required combo. The MSC has always reimbursed for me overages (only for Arby's, none of their other clients). Usually it would automatically be added to my pay, I only had to email the Help Desk once.

The current fee is zero and the reimbursement is $8.50, but they say ".. cost more than the reimbursement amount, please know we WILL reimburse you the full amount you paid as long as all guidelines were followed.."

The guidelines do say you must order the required sandwich, small curly fries, and small drink and they repeat that you may not order any other size.
I wish they would post the required sandwich before a shopper accepts. There is an Arby's not far from here and if it was something tasty and healthier than the usual crap you have to order I might do one. Oh, and their fries suck, too. I also wish it didn't have to be a sandwich ALWAYS. Give a girl a nice salad every once in awhile, geeze!

You can make it healthier. Just nibble on the sandwich to meet the taste requirements, then remove everything except whatever's left healthy........ Hmmmm, that means you may have to throw the entire entree away! tongue sticking out smiley

Back on topic. Picked one up just in case CashApp gives me another $5 off ANY restaurant coupon. Even if there isn't a fee, I can try out their new entree and fulfill my junk food craving and CREATE a $5 tax-free fee for myself via CashApp.

I just checked the web site and none posted in my area. Last time I shopped it was last year.
Cash App isn't a coupon. It is an alternative payment method, like Samsung Pay. The coupons are with the app, not the restaurant.

I thought this MSC states no coupons for Arby's? Correct me if I am wrong.

It’s a backend coupon they don’t see. For example, the total is $9. I pay with my CashApp card. CashApp gives Arby’s $9, CashApp only chargers me $4. I get reimbursed $9 by the MSC. I pocket the $5 tax free.
